Good morning to all! Hopefully in a bit over 4 hours one of you will have this magnificent example of a Porsche 993 Carrera, in your collection. In my 43 years, buying, restoring and selling Porsche's, I can only count on one hand the number of cars in this fine original condition. Good Luck with your bidding! You don't have to be shy with this one...It's one in a million! (Actually one of 2,109 sold in the USA in 1996)

@aic225 Typically, non S and 4S 993s are considered narrow body. But as photo #9 reveals, it's only "narrow" in relation to a widebody (S or 4S or Turbo). In fact, there is little "narrow" about it...but it's the name on a relative basis. I believe all 993s are incredibly sexy sports cars.
@Archer1 @Archer1- Never heard that term applied to a 993, since many considered them a wide body compared to the earlier 911's. No one has suggested this car is a wide body 993 or turbo which was 6cm wider.

@avonwaldow- Correct, this one is a narrow body.
What a beauty!
Greetings: This car does not have the wide Turbo rear fenders, correct? Thanks very much.

Through the contact seller button, I received a few questions...Below, are the answers for everyone:
1. The Michelin Pilot tires were made very late in 2015, and installed in early 2016 by the selling dealer. Presently they measure 10/32, show no sign so ageing, and run out quiet and smooth.
2. The tech measured the brakes 10B and 9B during his safety inspection just performed.
3. In preparation for sale, the tech replaced all 4 hood shocks, the reverse light switch, and changed the oil.
4. He also completed a satisfactory Emissions Certification.
5. The A/C system was checked, and works well.
Everything on this car functions exactly as it should, on a 19k. mile car...No surprises here.
Not only did the 1996 have more bhp, but it was the first year of the varioram. I had a '95 and '96. The varioram seem to help the 993 a lot while you were in the lower rpm range.
@rbw993- Good catch, I'm not sure where the P-Car writer got that number...You are correct, all 96-98 cars were 282hp.

I had a 1995 993 and it had 270 HP. The 1996 - 1998 had 282 HP. Just an OCD point of accuracy. Love the car.
Welcome everyone! I appreciate your interest in this magnificent 993 Carrera coupe. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. Thank You, and enjoy the auction!
