Now available is this 1996 Land Rover Defender 110 featuring a custom grey finish over a black leather and Alcantara interior. This 1996 example was imported to the United States from Turkey after receiving a full restoration including a fully customized interior, a custom sound system, new paint, upgraded wheels and tires, auxiliary lighting, and much more. Equipped with a turbodiesel engine, manual transmission, and a host of off-road equipment, this Defender 110 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Oregon.
This Defender was refinished in a custom shade of grey similar to Land Rover's Orkney Grey (949), accented by a black roof panel and black diamond plates running along the rocker panels, rear quarters, and front fenders. Exterior equipment includes steel front and rear bumpers, tubular side steps, a swing-out rear tire carrier, black fender flares, a front skid plate, mud flaps, an OE-style snorkel intake system, a full-size Front Runner roof rack system, full LED lighting, black Defender badging, black headlight bezels, and a black front grille. The aftermarket black-painted split five-spoke wheels come dressed in BF Goodrich K02 all-terrain tires from 2020.
The interior has been redone in black leather with gray contrast stitching spanning across the dashboard, center console, and door panels. New black carpeting has also been added along with a new headliner and black Alcnatara door frames. A pair of racing-style bucket seats have been equipped in front and are trimmed to match the rear seats with Alcantara inserts and contrast stitching. Other additions include a custom leather-wrapped steering wheel, aluminum shift knobs for the transmission and transfer case, a Sony double-din head unit connected to upgraded speakers, and a subwoofer box mounted in the cargo area. The seller reports the mileage shown on the digital odometer to be accurate.
This Defender 110 is powered by a 2.5L Land Rover Td5 turbo-diesel five-cylinder engine which was factory rated at 122 HP and 221 lb.-ft of torque. All four wheels are driven by way of a 5-speed manual transmission and dual-range transfer case. The seller reports this Defender to be in excellent mechanical order and reports the clutch has recently been replaced.
This sale will include a clean title.

@gpmotors I appreciate the comment on smiles. We all enjoy them. BUT, for the group bidding on your amazing smile giver, can you share what you believe is the MPG?
@Boathouse3 The car has functioning AC, it works great.
@rreasen The cruising speed is 75 MPH, top speed is 90 MPH. With this defender, its all about smiles per gallon not miles per gallon ;)

@cab2door The Defender cruises at 75 MPH. The firewall is in good condition.
Also, what is the condition of the firewall?
What is it's freeway top speed (relaxed cruising)? I guess I am asking can it do 80 to 85 without stressing it?
Was the TD5 engine installed here in the US? That engine isn't still legal to be imported under the 25yr rule.
