Introduced in 1995 for the Japanese market, the DB8 Integra Type R was engineered with a reinforced chassis, reduced weight, and a hand-assembled B18C engine paired to a close-ratio 5-speed manual transmission. This 1996 right-hand-drive example is refinished in Championship White over a red and black interior. It comes equipped with a limited-slip differential, four-wheel disc brakes, 15″ alloy wheels, along with aftermarket enhancements, including Tein Flex Z adjustable coilovers, a Cusco rear sway bar, Blox lower control arms, a Renown Alcantara steering wheel, Skunk2 shift knob, and a Kenwood head unit. Showing under 165k kilometers (approximately 102k miles) on the odometer, this rare Integra Type R Sedan is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Texas.
The Japanese-market Integra is distinguished from its U.S. counterpart by enclosed one-piece headlight assemblies and red Honda badging. This example was refinished in Championship White under prior ownership, during which GS-R side moldings were installed, and the factory Type R rear wing was removed. Additional details include Type R decals on the rear doors, body-colored side skirts, and 15″ eight-spoke alloy wheels mounted with Yokohama Advan Neova AD08R tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The right-hand-drive cabin features Type R SR3 Recaro front seats upholstered in red cloth, complemented by a matching red carpet and a set of DC2 LS rear seats in gray fabric. Aftermarket equipment includes a Renown Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel, a Skunk2 shift knob, and a Kenwood head unit. The seller notes that the air conditioning system functions properly and all gauges and electronics are in proper working order.
Power comes from a 1.8-liter B18C DOHC VTEC inline-four, which delivers a factory-rated 197 HP and 131 lb-ft of torque to the front wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential. A street strip clutch has been fitted, and recent maintenance includes replacement of the motor mounts, belts, tie rod ends, shifter and sway bar bushings, rotors, and pads. Suspension modifications include a new set of Tein Flex Z adjustable coilovers, a Cusco rear sway bar, and Blox lower control arms. The seller notes the engine is free of leaks and that the transmission shifts smoothly with no grinding.
This sale will include a spare tire and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This is a very nice example of a JDM RHD Integra Type R. I would call this a great driver quality car. The exterior presents well due to recent full body repaint in correct color as well as very good condition of the interior.”

@Casapao No need for documentation.
"Effectively, the 25-year import rule waives the need for a vehicle to meet safety standards and emissions regulations set out by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), provided a vehicle is older than, you guessed it, 25 years..."

@Casapao the car is registered in Texas. I purchased the car from a dealership in AZ, not sure of how it was imported.
Is this car currently registered in the States or in Texas? Do you happen to have the all documents when you imported it?
