For the 1996 model year, Ford’s Mustang SVT Cobra featured a new DOHC 4.6-liter V8, replacing the outgoing 5.0-liter unit. Finished in Black (UA) with a Saddle convertible soft top, the SVT Cobra featured a domed hood for the 1996 model year, along with updated taillights with three vertical bars, ‘COBRA’ lettering on the rear valence, and a redesigned spoiler. Other equipment includes fog lights, Cobra badging, and dual exhaust outlets. It rides on 17” cast aluminum five-spoke wheels wrapped in Falken tires from 2021. The engine also featured split ports, a dual 57mm throttle body with an 80mm MAF, and an integrated oil cooler allowing for acceleration from 0-60 MPH in as little as 5.5 seconds. Standard equipment includes rack and pinion power steering and vented disc brakes. The seller reports an oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
