Wearing Pininfarina-designed bodywork over a steel monocoque chassis, the Ferrari F355 features an electronically adjustable suspension, a limited-slip differential, and a 3.5-liter quad-cam V8 with 5 valves per cylinder. This 1996 example is an F355 Spider finished in Rosso Corsa over beige leather with a gated 6-speed manual transmission. Purchased by the seller 11 years ago, this F355 is now being offered for auction out of Arizona with approximately 28k miles showing on the odometer.
The F355 Spider was the first Ferrari to feature a power convertible top and was adapted from the hardtop Berlinetta model with 1,800 hours of wind tunnel to maximize open-top aerodynamics. This example is finished in Rosso Corsa with a black convertible top and silver 18” 5-spoke magnesium wheels. Other details include Scuderia fender shields, a vented engine cover, an integrated rear spoiler, side air intakes, pop-up headlamps, black Ferrari-branded brake calipers, and quad exhaust outlets. The seller notes the front bumper has been refinished, a Challenge-style rear grille has been installed, and the exterior has been treated with a ceramic coating. The tires show production date codes from 2010 and have been driven approximately 5k miles. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is appointed with power-adjustable bucket seats in beige leather with a matching lower dashboard, door panels, and center console. Accessories include a black leather four-spoke steering wheel, a polished aluminum gear knob, a gated shifter assembly, drilled aluminum pedals, power windows and mirrors, air conditioning, and an aftermarket Pioneer stereo.
The Tipo F129 B/C 3.5-liter DOHC V8 features a 5-valve cylinder head, titanium connecting rods, and dry-sump lubrication. It sends up to 375 HP and 275 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual gearbox and a limited-slip differential. The car comes standard with an electronically adjustable suspension and has been fitted with upgraded aluminum radiators. The seller indicates the oxygen sensors were replaced under their ownership along with the convertible top controller module.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a car cover, a battery charger, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “During my period of ownership, I have learned about the 355 design its characteristics, and performance. over the 11 years. The car has been maintained and serviced by experts in Ferrari technology. Operating the roof has always been a problem for these cars. The controller was replaced with difficulty because a new one is hard to find. and very expensive. The one in the car does make the roof go up and down but does not move the seats. The car was dyno tested showing against an identical car adjusted for higher performance without cats. The car is completely stock.”

There are previous records available. They were not included because they are hand written by the mechanic and hard to read. I will include them. I will check to see what is missing in the latest group of bills.
Hello, there are only 3 pages of records in the pictures gallery and looks like one page is missing.
Are these the only records available for this car? Nothing previous to 2022 and nothing from 2022 up to this date?
I would like to think that it would show a difference as metering checks the depth of the paint. Age is only relevant when you are consider fading to paint compared to new paint, not depth of the paint.
Since the car was in an accident in its first year metering the paint will not show that it is original.
The car has not been metered to my knowledge. I do not know what unknowns you are talking about. There is is a slight gap larger on the right side from fender to hood. Penske Shop could not resolve it. There are no shade differences in the color. Sun lighting could be the source
Has the car ever been paint metered? I’m still hung up on the potential unknowns from the carfax report. In picture 15 the fender and hood seem to be different shades and the body lines are quite misaligned. Is that accurate in person?

@Chiro911 No sticky coatings. All areas are cleaned. AC Function: The AC was flushed and filled in 2022 and works perfectly today. There is no dash shrinkage. I have observed this on other Ferraris. In checking with state police no further info about car running off the road at the time of the accident. Do not know how the evaluation was made. Owner at the time would not answer my calls. Bumper has been refreshed and new paint. In reviewing the car underneath and right side, appears in fine condition. Picture include. Please review bills in the photo section showing over $15,000 work done during major belt change.
Some questions;
Any details on the severe accident in 1996 on carfax? I imagine more than just the front bumper has been refreshed.
Sticky buttons?
AC functions?
Dash shrinkage?
