Based on the E36 chassis, the Z3 was developed by BMW as a rear-wheel-drive two-seater sports car and was the first mass-produced Z-Series model following the Z1. Finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a Black and Tanin Red Oregon leather interior, this 1996 example comes equipped with a 1.9L inline 4-cylinder engine paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission. The Z3 follows the characteristic traits of a BMW roadster with its long hood, short overhangs, and seating position just above the rear axle. The prominent kidney grilles, side vents, and fender-mounted roundels pay homage to the BMW 507.
