Up for auction is this 2-owner 1996 Porsche 993 Carrera Coupe. The Aventurine exterior is elegantly paired to a classic gray interior. Originally sold new in NH, this incredibly original 993 is being offered by selling dealer who acquired the car from its second owner who purchased the car in 1999. The seller shares that this is a fabulous driving 993, which gave many miles of enjoyment to the previous owner.
When physically inspecting the vehicle, there are no signs of accidents or previous damage which is supported by the Carfax report. The car presents itself as a very honest and original example. Upon acquiring the car, the seller states that it still retained its original stone guards that were showing their age. The seller had them professionally removed and replaced with larger custom cut clear paint protection film to give better protection to the quarter panels. The seller also noted that when he received the car, the paint was completely original. He commissioned the front bumper to be professionally resprayed and had a minor rust bubble professionally repaired that was located near the VIN plate on the front windshield. Documentation of these repairs will accompany the sale. The seller did an excellent job in providing a comprehensive photo gallery to give a sense of the true condition of this 993.
The gray interior is in excellent condition with no stains, rips or tears. It is in all original condition and by viewing the gallery photos you will see that it gives the impression of a well-cared for automobile.
This 993 retains its original normally aspirated flax-six engine producing 282 HP and 250 lb-ft Torque. For the 1996 model year, Porsche upgraded the flat-6 engine with the Varioram dual plenum induction. Power is delivered via a 6-speed manual transmission. The Carfax shows that the car did visit the local Porsche dealer for service throughout its life. The seller, did complete a full fluid service, replaced the front brakes, and had a new clutch installed before offering the car for sale. The car is currently in excellent running condition.
The 993 is a very special Porsche for many reasons, however, it gets the most notoriety for being the very last air-cooled 911 produced. In 2WD Coupe form, this is the epitome of the purist’s 911 and to many, the best iteration available. The car being sold will include a clean Carfax, 2 sets of keys, books, and records from the work performed by the seller.

@DaBigKahuna1969 Perfect color combo in my mind too. I'm stalking the market until I sell my car this winter to purchase a 993 coupe/stick . I've gone from initially thinking red looked best, then silver b/c it's Germany's F1 racing color. Dan Gurney scored Porsche's only F1 win in silver long ago. but you're talking yourself into silver at that point. Black is too hot for the south, and burgundy doesn't quite do it. This one checks all the boxes, including a light colored interior for the heat. Good luck!
@DaBigKahuna1969 don't see why not.
@BoJones good one! No, I don't trust him for he is me.
@DaBigKahuna1969 It depends, do you trust the driver? lol, couldn't resist.
Love the color combination, especially the interior. Is the A/C working correctly? Do you believe that this car would easily make a drive down to Houston, TX?
