Available for auction is this custom 1995 Land Cruiser FJ40 backdate. This 1995 example was created by Red Line Land Cruisers and comes fitted with an aluminum FJ40-style body manufactured by Aqual while retaining the updated 80 Series chassis. The engine, transfer case, and axles were rebuilt, and high-end upgrades were installed including a 2” suspension lift, 17” Level 8 wheels, Corbeau seats, locking front, center, and rear differentials, and much more. This beautifully restored Land Cruiser backdate is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Texas.
During the restoration by Red Line Land Cruisers, this example was carefully disassembled and fitted with custom aluminum FJ40-style bodywork finished in Freeborn Red with a removable soft top in black. Other features include LED Headlights and side-markers, a Swing-Away spare tire carrier, a steel front bumper, FJ UTE rock sliders, and 17” Level 8 Guardian wheels finished in bronze. These wheels come dressed in 295/70 Cooper ST Max tires, and a matching full-size spare is mounted in the rear. Additional photos are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report showing damage to have occurred in 2013.

The interior was also equipped with DynaDeck floor lining, a Dakota digital instrument cluster, a custom roll cage, air conditioning, a Nardi steering wheel, Lokar shifter, a dual battery system, and a custom sound system with Kicker speakers and a Pioneer stereo located in the Tuffy locking center console.
Power comes from a 4.5L inline-six which produced up to 212 HP and 275 lb.-ft of torque when new. All four wheels are driven by way of a 4-speed automatic transmission with locking front, center, and rear differentials, 4.88 Sierra gears, and Aisin lockout front hubs, The engine, front and rear axles, and transfer case are said to have been rebuilt during the restoration and the transfer case features a Marlin low range gear conversion. Suspension upgrades consist of an OME 2” lift kit with Nitrocharger Shocks, Slee offroad adjustable panhard rods, and heavy-duty rear trailing arms. Braking is handled by PowerStop drilled and slotted brake rotors with Slee extended stainless steel brake lines.
This sale will include a clean title. Offering the classic rugged looks of the FJ40 with the refined architecture of the FJ80, this custom Land Cruiser is ready to be enjoyed both on or offroad.

Drives incredibly well
All the driving characteristics of a 1995 land cruiser ?
Just double checking , body is an all aluminum custom one piece ? No photos of under carriage , was it under coated ? Important to me because they tend to rust out in the north east where I live .
@dawsondavenport .... Thanks!
Beautiful Land Cruiser!!
