Up for auction is this 1995 Porsche 993 Carrera Coupe finished in Guards Red over a grey leather interior. Purchased by its 3rd and current owner in 2002, this 993 has been responsibly and sparingly enjoyed on the streets of Texas since new. In a very uncommon occurrence, this 993 sold on PCARMARKET to a buyer who unfortunately, was unable to fulfill his obligations. The seller has since invested over $12k into a full engine service ensuring it to be in top running condition. This properly-sorted 993 is being auctioned by the seller located in Hutto, TX.
Finished in Guards Red, this 993's exterior finish is stated to be in excellent condition, bearing only mileage-appropriate rock chips that have been touched up. The seller also notes that a pair of brand new stone guards have been installed. This 993 rides on a set of aftermarket 17” Turbo Twist wheels that are wrapped in fresh Bridgestone Potenza tires. Always garage kept, this 993 is very clean and a true time capsule of a car. Paint meter readings are provided in the photo gallery.
Resulting from an improved rear suspension, the 993 offered a quieter and more comfortable ride than any previous 911 model. This 993 has been tastefully optioned with a gray partial leather interior. The driver’s seat does show some minor wear along with a few scuffs below the steering wheel, but interior overall appears to be in very well-kept condition as per the provided photos. All accessories and electronics are in great working order including the factory sunroof and radio head unit.
Boasting factory upgrades in nearly every category, the 993 featured a revolutionary alloy multi-link rear suspension, upgraded power steering, new dual-flow exhaust and larger brakes. Power comes from a 3.6L flat-six engine which sends 270 HP to the rear wheels by way of a refined 6-speed manual transmission. Bone stock, this car accelerates from 0-60 in approximately five seconds and reaches top speeds of nearly 170mph. The seller states that a recent "top-end reseal" was performed on this engine for its next owners peace of mind including: new gaskets, new belts, new alternator, new camshaft, all new fluids, new filters, new shift linkage, and a fresh application of stone guards. The car is stated to be in exceptional running condition. Detailed photos of records as well as engine numbers will be provided in the photo gallery. A new A/C compressor was also recently installed.
Included in the sale of this exquisite 1995 Coupe are maintenance records from 2005 as well as original books and documentation. A clean, accident-free Carfax report along with a fresh service means this 993 is ready to be enjoyed for many more years to come. Do not miss your opportunity to bid on this lovely driver’s grade 993, the last of the air cooled 911.

Beautiful car, the 993’s and the 997’s
are some of the best 911’s around.
The current 991’s and 992’s have transformed from drivers sports cars
to Grand Touring cars . Consequently
the 911 has passed the sports drivers
car baton to the Boxster and Cayman
series cars.
Happy Motoring to my fellow
911ophiles
I have a feeling this is going to approach C4 money.
I’m going to pass and stick to my current projects. Good luck to the seller and other bidders.

Great day to bid on a Red 993 with an exceptionally worn driver seat. Lucy for me, I am not that picky.

@Mercyhealth Thanks for the comment. I agree. Texas, especially my county, is very strict about the front plate. After getting pulled over twice for nothing more than the front plate, I gave in.
Always sad to see the front license plate mount. Stupid states that require it. Guaranteed if the cops are chasing you they will never see the front of this HOT 911.

Come on @cocho who puts a 250 bid on this car?
@jakeg104 Thanks! These 17" "Turbo Twist" wheels were on the car when I purchased it. On the inner side, the wheels are stamped "Cup 3" and "Made in Italy." Based on my research, I believe these wheels are the so-called "Mille Miglia" Cup 3 wheels that were available for the 993. I believe that Porsche authorized Mille Miglia to manufacture them. I haven't ever been able to find out if these wheels were put on at purchase by the dealer/original owner or added later. Thanks! Jeff

Beautiful car and so well presented! Could you comment on the aftermarket turbo twists? What brand are they? Thanks!
