The final evolution of Porsche’s air-cooled 911, this 1995 Porsche 993 Carrera Cabriolet comes finished in Grand Prix White over Midnight Blue upholstery. It pairs a 6-speed manual transmission with its 3.6-liter flat-six and features an optional limited-slip differential, automatic braking differential, automatic speed control, and more. Acquired by its second and current owner from Continental Porsche of Fairfield, Connecticut, in 1999, this example is accompanied by several service records dating back to their purchase. Previously listed on PCARMARKET, this 993 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California, with less than 60k miles showing on the odometer.
Finished in Grand Prix White, this 993 rides on 17” Cup 2 wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport AS/3+ tires with plenty of tread reported to remain. The blue convertible soft top is said to have been replaced in 2019. Optional colored Porsche-crested wheel caps are also equipped. Other features include a speed-activated rear spoiler, a distinctive “basket handle” fixed rear spoiler with an integrated third brake light, fog lights, and dual exhaust outlets. The seller has disclosed minor paint imperfections such as scratches near the door handles, light wear on the right front fender, minor road wear on the hood, and a windshield chip. The rear bumper plastic was repainted after the vehicle was backed into a wall in the driveway, and the wheels were refinished simultaneously. A professional detail is said to have been performed in February 2024, and detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report noting minor damage in November 2023.
Inside, this 993 sports a Midnight Blue interior with matching carpets and power-operated seats. The seller adds that an integrated radar detector has been mounted to the front license plate. The seller notes the horn will sound intermittently due to an unknown electrical fault, and the deck lid warning light occasionally stays on for a few seconds after the car is started, then goes away. Minor wear is observed on the shifter, stains are present in the passenger’s side footwell, and the wiper speed knob is broken.
Power is provided by a 3.6-liter flat-six engine generating as much as 272 HP and 243 lb.-ft. of torque, sent to the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. Acceleration from 0-60 mph is achieved in approximately 5 seconds, with a top speed of 168 mph. The seller notes that the clutch has not been replaced, and the fluids were changed in January 2023. A host of service documentation dating back to 1999 will accompany the sale.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “The current owner acquired the car from the original owner in 1999 through a Connecticut dealership. It has primarily been used locally and for road trips, including journeys to Colorado and Canada, all while being garage-stored. Subsequently, the car was moved to New Mexico and later to California, where it was prepared for sale.”

Thanks everyone for the interest thus far. If you’re interested in service documentation please reach out directly and I will happily share them with you. Keep the questions coming! I want to be fully transparent about this car!
It has been serviced more recently than is showing up on CarFax. Just had the fluids changed and the car inspected by Foreign Sport in Santa Monica in February. They’re a marque expert. During their inspection they did note the clutch would need to be replaced sooner rather than later.
@W_Moss, You have only driven it 400 miles in past five years per Carfax? How is the clutch? Thanks
@Workshop5001 if you mean the photo of the bumper before the repair, it’s #231 in the gallery.
