Now available at auction is this 1995 Porsche 993 Carrera Cabriolet finished in Grand Prix White over a Flamenco Red leather interior. Marking the last generation of the air-cooled 911, the 993 was produced from 1994 through 1998, and was the first 911 to receive a 6-speed manual transmission. This 1995 example was originally delivered in Wisconsin in March of 1995 and remained there until 2017 when it was relocated to Tennesee, where it was acquired by the current owner. Accompanied with extensive service documentation from the current and previous owners, this meticulously cared for 993 Cabriolet is now being offered at auction with 55,514 miles on the odometer by the seller located in South Carolina.
This Cabriolet is finished in Grand Prix White (P5) with a black power-retractable soft top and tonneau cover. The seller describes the exterior to remain in great condition, noting some touch-ups on both door handles, some road-going wear on the front bumper, and a small chip on the rear decklid. The CARFAX report shows a minor accident occurred in August of 2008, but with no further details. Images are provided in the gallery along with the CARFAX report. Equipment includes a speed-activated rear spoiler, basket-handle third brake light, dual exhaust outlets, and a set of 17″ Cup II alloy wheels, which are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires show date codes from 2017.
The Flamenco Red interior features a matching dashboard, center console, door panels, and carpeting, along with power-adjustable seats, air conditioning, a radar detector, and an upgraded Porsche Classic Communication Management radio with navigation, Bluetooth, USB input, and Apple CarPlay. The interior is said to remain in very good original condition, and the seller confirms all gauges, lights, and accessories remain fully functional.
The 993 is equipped with an air-cooled M64 3.6L flat-six engine, derived from the 964, but with lighter connecting rods and pistons, larger valves and intake passages, a new mass airflow meter, and a dual-flow exhaust system. As much as 272 HP and 243 lb.-ft of torque are sent to the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transaxle. All necessary maintenance is said to have been kept up to date by the current and previous owners, and detailed service documentation is available upon request.
This sale will include 3 sets of keys, owner’s manuals, exterior and interior OEM car covers, and a wind deflector.

@MeltingJax They are uploaded now and please see my above response about the readings…
@DL14 the pics are up! It looks like the only real significant area of paint is above the hood where the frame meets the windshield. The windshield has been replaced and new seals area around the entire car. It looks amazing. The windshield, hood, around the door handles, etc…but, blending and maybe some clear coat finish at some point may have been done! I hope this helps!

@MeltingJax I will see if I can snag one from a buddy of mine that has one and get you the pics. Thanks for looking!
@CarNutinMiami now oil leaks at all and AC blows ice cold! ?
Bid in the amount of $20,000
@prindemann Thank you for being so responsive. Could we get paint meter readings? Thank you
Are there any current oil leaks? Does the AC blow cold?
@clubrcr 12/4/18 the value cover gasket was replaced at Porsche Nashville along with plug and wires and other items. Other than a full brake line and brake service did I see any service record I had for clutch history. Although my guys at Porsche Columbia, SC evaluated it a couple months ago and said it was in great condition. I hope this helps?
@clubrcr when it says minor it had to be super minor. The seller who I purchased the car from also said the same thing. There is not indication of paint or body work anywhere we can tell. The small tear is just from the control arm inside the top’s liner. It’s on the lining of the top that is torn and could be sewn up easily. I just haven’t. Also, I can run back through the receipts if the previous owner who had the majority of the work preformed at Porsche Nashville to see if any clutch work was preformed. My mechanic, who is the Porsche mechanic says the car is in amazing shape and needs nothing! But, let me double check the receipts to see! Thanks for looking!
Do you have any information on the "minor" accident? Any info on the rip in the interior of top in picture 75? The wiring in picture 118, is that for a trickle charger? Finally, has the clutch been replaced or any engine work been done? It is a beautiful color combination.
@WhipE350 That's a K40 radar/laser module. It has the built in radar detector…hope this helps! And yes, it’s a very nice cab! Thanks for looking!
Hello. Do know what the attached small box is in the engine bay beside the air intake?
Up in Charlotte and interested in possibly seeing in person. I have a 95 coupe and yours looks like a well sorted cab.
@Jczz74 as far as I know yes...It is in amazing and impeccable shape! It truly is like new. There a small tear on the inside where the control arm comes down but, it is only the lining and is a small and simple repair. I just never got around to sewing/stitching it up. But, in amazing shape!
Is top original please
@Selo I have the convertible boot for the top and the boot bag. Both in like new condition. I have the exterior cover and two interior dust covers. One is the OEM Porsche 993 interior dust cover and the other is a second dust cover included with the sale.
@prlindemann, I don't see the Tonneau in any pics. Is there one included with the sale, as stated?
Thank you all for checking out this great 993! It’s been a pleasure to drive and own! Let me know if I can answer any questions!
