Now available for auction is this well-preserved 1995 Porsche 968 Coupe finished in Black. Among the last of Porsche’s two-door transaxle sports cars, this 1995 example represents one of only 259 North American coupes built for the 968’s final year of production. It came factory equipped with colored Porsche wheel center crests, a black partial leather interior, a full-power driver’s seat, detachable sunroof, and rear window wiper.. New tires, brakes, and CV joints are said to have been installed in 2020, and a timing belt replacement was carried out more recently in April of 2021. Having spent time in Virginia, New England, and Florida under the care of three previous owners, this 968 was recently acquired by the seller and is now being offered for auction out of Florida with approximately 67k-miles showing on the odometer.
This Coupe is finished in Black, detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. The car remains original in its appearance with factory 16” 5-spoke alloy wheels featuring optional colored Porsche center crests and newer Pirelli P-Zero tires.
Inside, you will find a well presented black partial leather interior that remains highly original with the exception of an aftermarket Continental radio. The full power driver’s seat is said to remain fully functional along with the A/C and all other accessories.
This 968 is equipped with a naturally aspirated 3.0L inline-four engine that sends 236 HP to the rear wheels by way of a desirable 6-speed manual transaxle. Using this drivetrain, the 968 is capable of accelerating from 0-60 MPH in approximately 6-seconds with a top speed of over 150 MPH. Service carried out in November of 2020 is said to include new brakes, tires, and CV joints. The timing belt is also said to have been just recently replaced in April of 2021.
This sale will include a clean title. As the market for vintage transaxle Porsche's gains momentum, nicely presented examples such as these are becoming increasingly sought after, do not let this 968 pass you by.

@mtharbertmac.com No, they have being servicing the car for a long time until they've took it as a Trade-In for a partial payment on brand new BMW X3. Why CARFAX wrote that it was sold at Auction an immediately show it as part of the used inventory for sale, I don't know.
In any case here is my interpretation; Former owner gave it as a trade-in, the Dealer at the same time, have to report the Buy/Sale, Register the new car with the same Plate, (Buyer's), that was on the Porsche,(PLate) and show the new ownership of this car,(trade In), and they have to register the new car by transferring the owner's old plate,(from the Porsche to the BMW). In the application of Title, here in Florida you have to inform and detail if you are taking in a partial payment a Trade In together with all the info on the trade. And also collect taxes on the difference.
I hope you understand. If not feel free to contact the Dealership Sales Manager and he will explained to you. Or you can always get back to me. Thanks
Internal bill. That makes sense. Thanks.
So it looks like BMW has been servicing the vehicle for the previous owner since 2007 and then acquired the car at auction last year?
@mtharbertmac.com This is not an estimate it is an INVOICE an "internal invoice" if you want, It was issued at the Dealership to whom I bought the car from.
The Invoice # POCS256502 Detailed the items and labor that have being performed;
4 new Pirelli tires,(Ft & Rr); Rear Disk Brakesm(Rotors); 2 CV Joint axles, etc.
After the Dealer received the car a "Trade In", they've inspected the car and create an Inspection Report an Estimate which Mr Ryan fr the Dealership approved and all the work have being done. Hope this clarifies your doubt. If not, you can also call to the
VW/ BMW/PORSCHE of Ocala,Fl and ask for the Gral Sales Manager Mr Watts and or Mr James Jupiter,(New Sales car Manager fr BMW of Ocala and confirm all the work and parts that have being done and replaced to this specific car, before I bought it.
Please let me know if you have any other question. All the records, (originals),are inluded in the sale. Thanks and good luck!
Your comments included work done in 2020 for tires, brakes and CV joints. You attached an invoice but it appears to be an estimate of $5,000.00. Is there not an invoice for this if the work was done? Thanks

A nice looking coupe. SS820151 is #2,066 of the 2,234 North American 968 coupes produced. #91 of the 259 1995 coupes, it has a March 1994 production date. 1 of 595 black coupes, factor in the interior, 1 of 317. Black/Black was the most popular combo on the coupe. It has 3 factory options: LT partial leather in black, XD4 painted crest center caps, and 437 8-way full power seat. It is also a 718 car which means it was born a 1994 and reVINed by Porsche to be a 1995. GLWS.

Please understand that the car had only 2 (two) previous Owners before I titled under my company name. CARFAX named as the Third owner to the Dealer that took the car in trade and to whom I bought the vehicle to.
I believe it was necessary to clarify this point.
Thanks
