We are pleased to offer this 1995 Porsche 993 Carrera Cabriolet finished in Black over a Cashmere Beige interior. Marking the final generation of the coveted air-cooled 911, the 993 was produced from 1994 through 1998. This Carrera features an M64 flat-six engine paired with a 6-speed manual transaxle and is said to have had only two caretakers since new. It was acquired by the current owner from BMW of North Haven in 2001 at just over 40k miles and has been fastidiously maintained ever since. Now showing just over 50k miles on the odometer, this 993 is being offered for auction by its longtime second owner out of Connecticut.
This Cabriolet is finished in Black with a matching power-retractable soft top and tonneau cover. Equipment includes a speed-activated rear spoiler, basket-handle third brake light, dual exhaust outlets, and a set of 17″ Cup II alloy wheels dressed in older Continental ContiSportContact tires. Upon the seller's purchase in 2001, the convertible top transmission, control unit, hinges, and microswitches were replaced by Porsche Danbury. The top motor was repaired once again by The Third Garage in 2021 and the seller reports the roof material is original. Some wear is noted on the clear stone guards over the rear fenders as well as some clearcoat failure near the left taillight and a touch-up on the rear bumper. An additional set of chrome Turbo-style wheels will accompany the sale as well, images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Cashmere Beige interior features matching floor mats, power-operated seats, air conditioning, cruise control, a wooden shift knob, and a Porsche CR-1 cassette stereo. Cracking is present on the driver's seat bolster, and a small stain is noted on the rear carpet. The seller confirms all gauges, lights, and accessories remain fully functional.
The 993 carried over the air-cooled M64 3.6L flat-six engine from its predecessor, with updates including lighter connecting rods and pistons, larger valves and intake passages, a new mass air flow meter, and a dual-flow exhaust system. As much as 272 HP and 243 lb.-ft of torque are sent to the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transaxle. The suspension has been stiffened and lowered on aftermarket Bilstein springs. Under current ownership in 2013, a major service was completed including new valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, ignition wires, distributor cap and rotor, and more. The air conditioning system was recharged in June of 2020 and an oil service was last completed in of September 2021. Service records are provided for reference in the gallery along with images of the undercarriage.
This sale will include an additional set of wheels, service records, owner's manuals, and a clean title. For those in search of an open-top air-cooled 911, this well-maintained 993 makes an excellent choice.

Hello everyone and thanks for tuning into our auction! We are excited for a great week on PCARMARKET and we are here to help with any and all questions!
@rbw993 - The damage under the front lip was noted in the PPI documentation when the current owner bought the car in 2001. It is not known what the cause of these scrapes were. The Eibach lowering springs were installed by the first owner, our guess is that the front was likely scraped shortly after the car was lowered by the first owner. It is still entirely original paint!
@MeltingJax - Thank you for the bid!

There is some damage on the front fascia and scraping on the underbody. Did it run over something? I ran over a ladder that fell off of a contractors truck. It wasn't fun!
Interior and engine bay look really good.
