Available for auction is this 1995 Porsche 993 Carrera Coupe finished in Black with a matching partial leather interior. Marking the last generation of air-cooled 911, this 993 Carrera is powered by a flat-six engine that sends as much as 272 HP to the rear wheels via 6-speed manual transmission and an optional limited-slip differential. This example recently underwent engine-out service at Blair Talbot Motors and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New Hampshire showing approximately 73k miles on the odometer.
This sunroof coupe comes finished in Black (L741) and rides 17” Cup 2 wheels accented by colored Porsche crest center caps. The wheels are wrapped in Continental Extreme Contact from 2018 and the condition of the paint is said to be commensurate with its age while the original stone guards show signs of deterioration. An accident in 2009 that caused damage to the left side of the car is noted on the CARFAX report. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The black partial leather (LT) interior is complemented by an upgraded Momo gearshift knob, handbrake lever, and Alpine radio. Aftermarket carbon fiber trim pieces have also been added along with aluminum door handles and custom instrument dials. Minimal signs of wear are reported and the seller confirms all gauges and accessories to be working properly.
This Carrera Coupe is equipped with an air-cooled 3.6L flat-six engine that produces up to 272 HP and drives the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission with an optional limited-slip differential and Automatic Braking Differential (ABD). It was fitted with a new battery in January 2022 and then thoroughly inspected by Porsche specialist, Blair Talbot Motors. The technicians discovered all four valve covers were leaking and subsequently performed an engine-out service including new gaskets, rear axle boots, EGR valve, spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter, an oil change, brake fluid flush, and complete tune. New hood and engine deck struts were installed and the seller notes the front left lower control arm was replaced at some point.
This sale will include a clean title, owner’s manual, toolkit, spare tire, air pump, battery charger, and some documentation.

@BlueDevils00 The car is in NH.
I probably won’t make it back in time but for what it’s worth the guys at Blair Talbot Motors who did the work were impressed at how original the car is.
I’ve been a BMW guy and I’ve never driven a car that corners as effortlessly as this and it’s on its original struts. The engine is smooth and really pulls once you get it into its torque range. It’s truly a joy to drive.
If you have any specific questions I’ll be happy to answer them
Bill
@Minimahn - ok hopefully there is time but the car seems pretty well maintained. Also I'm in NC so double checking that the car is in NH and not still in VA? Thanks
@BlueDevils00 I’ve been out of town returning early afternoon. I’ll do my best to.get one up before the end.
@PCARMARKET - Thanks and maybe a driving video covering the gears and medium-hard acceleration.
New video content has been added to the listing page.
@BlueDevils00 The car drives really well but I’ll try to get the videos for you so you can see for yourself.
@BlueDevils00 Unfortunately I’m out of town until Thursday evening. I’ll see if I can get my son to do one for me.
Can you post a walk around and driving vid? Thanks
Video appears to be working now. Good stuff.
Bid in the amount of $55,000
The-racers.
I’ll call the guys who did the alignment tomorrow to see it’s stored in their computer. I’ve been using these guys for my cars for years though and trust them 100%. I’ve already asked about the leak down test. The earliest I could get in anywhere it’s late August.
Video is blank
@minimahn can you post an image of the alignment measurements? Any chance of a leakdown test?
Edward,
As it turns out, i can't upload a video directly, have to wait for the guys at Pcarmarket. I doubt they're in over the weekend, check back Monday.
Bill
Edward,
The video is blank and silent for me as well. I'm trying to upload again as i write this.
Corvettechuck,
Thanks for the comment. It's been a joy the few months it's been in my care. Always draws attention.
Bill
The cold start video shows up silent / all-black for me. Anyone else notice that?
