Marking the last generation of the air-cooled 911, this 1995 Porsche 993 Carrera Coupe came factory finished in Guards Red over a Cashmere/black interior featuring optional supple leather seats. The car was also optioned with 17” wheels, a rear window wiper, an exclusive leather covered storage tray, and a 4-speed Tiptronic transmission with steering wheel shift buttons. It has remained with the current owner since 1999 when the car was purchased showing just over 39k miles. Having since undergone all recommended maintenance according to Porsche’s specified intervals, this 993 now shows approximately 108k miles on the odometer and is being offered for auction out of Texas.
This 993 sports a classic Guards Red (L80K) finish as well a factory 17” Cup 2 wheels and an optional rear window wiper. The seller states the hood was previously refinished to address road-going wear and has since been covered under a layer of XPEL paint protection film along with the front bumper and mirrors. A small scratch is noted on the right front fender and the seller states the car has always been garage-kept. It currently rides on a set of Michelin Pilot Sport tires which were mounted in July of 2018 within the last 7k miles. Detailed images can be found in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is appointed with Cashmere and black (LG) partial leather upholstery including optional supple leather seats with deviated red stitching. Other options selected from the factory include a leather-covered console tray beneath the handbrake, an onboard computer, sunroof, cruise control, 8-way electrical seats, and Tiptronic shift buttons for the steering wheel. An upgraded Alpine Bluetooth stereo has been fitted along with upgraded speakers and custom embroidered “PORSCHE 993” logo floor mats. The seller reports the front seats were reupholstered in 2018 and confirms all accessories and instrumentation to be fully functional.
An air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 272 HP to the rear wheels through an optional 4-speed Tiptronic transmission that allows for both automatic and manual gear changes via the steering wheel. The seller states maintenance has been addressed per the manufacturer’s recommended intervals including new brake discs in 2009 as well as new struts, an alternator, fan, ignition plugs, and distributor cap in 2019. The most recent oil service was completed in May of 2022 and supporting documentation is said to accompany the sale.
This sale will include a clean title.

@likemytoys I am not sure. I know based on the records the car was first owned in Little Rock, Arkansas, and I purchased from a dealer in Missouri. I have been almost fanatical at keeping the vehicle up physically and mechanically. My mechanic would agree…and based on the recent leak down test confirms that belief. Based on the leak down test with almost perfect numbers, the mechanic says the vehicle has many more miles to go without issue.
Hi There @dhegmann - Any idea why the carfax only shows one owner? Thank you

@stupendous Thanks I think for the year it’s as good as it gets…which confirmed my belief after the leak down test that was conducted yesterday. If you have any doubts about the car, I suggest you contact the mechanic who knows the car. His name is Brian who works for Mayo Performance 817/540-4939’ in Euless, Tx. The shop only works on Porsche, and when I was there yesterday there were 10-15 Porsches in for service/repairs.
Beautiful 993. Love the color combo and it looks like a clean, clean example. Watching this closely. GLWTS!

@Dhegmann Just wanted to let you know the leak down test was conducted and passed with flying colors. The report and a photo of the underneath of the vehicle have been posted.

@TyStav It was
@Dhegmann thanks again for the info. Was your video taken at White Rock Lake?
@TyStav the valve cover documents are to be uploaded by PCarmarket any moment. In summary of these documents, the upper and lower gaskets were replaced and sealed on 06/08/2006 at 66033 miles. The gaskets were also replaced and sealed on 04/11/2014 at 94,168 miles. The oil leak is not really an issue. I have never added oil to the vehicle
before the next oil scheduled oil service which occurs annually.
@Dhegmann thanks so much for your response.
@Dhegmann The actual test they will be conducting is a leak down test, which is similar in scope to a compression test…according to Brian. I love the car, but mechanically, I leave it to the experts, which I have followed as long as I have owned the car.
@TyStav There is a cold start video in the post, as far as a driving video I am not able to provide it, but I assure you that this 993 runs great as a 993 should. Again, you can get this info from the mechanic who works on it. I think he could provide a wealth of information regarding this car. As far as the upper and lower valve cover gaskets, I am sure they have been replaced, but I will have to go through the records to confirm. I am not sure how I can provide copies of the records through this forum,. As far as the mechanic, I will provide his name and contact number. He works at Mayo Performance in Euless, TX.. Mayo Performance only works on Porsche and you can confirm that via their website. The mechanics name is Brian and Mayo’s number is 817/540-4939. I am taking the vehicle in for a leak test today as requested by another interested buyer.
@Dhegmann - I guess I meant has it had an engine out service and had the upper and lower valve cover gaskets replaced? Could you provide some of the service documents? Also any chance for a cold start video and driving video?
@TyStav Not sure what you mean about engine resealed. No warning lights pertaining to anything. A/C blows cold. Very slight oil leak, which is normal for the Porsche 993 according to three mechanics wh have worked on the car for the past 23 years. My mechanic noted a very slight oil leak, although when he ran the vehicle and turned it off he found no drips. In his experience at his business which only works on Porsche, he said he classifies this car as dry concerning oil leaks. I have been on top of every issue over the 23 years I have owned it. Your welcome to discuss any of your concerns with the mechanic.
Great color combo. Any issues with warning lights as it pertains to the secondary air injection system. Has the engine ever been resealed? Any oil leaks? AC blow cold? Thanks - very interested.
Very nice! Very well kept, even for the miles. You've done a fantastic job keeping her maintained and looking great. I would be completely enamored if only she had three pedals. Otherwise should do very well. GLWA.
Welcome to the auction. I am selling my 1995 Porsche 993 after 23 years of ownership. I have been fanatical keeping the car running and looking like a 993 should. Feel free to ask me any questions. Thank you
