Up for auction is an excellent example of a Porsche 993 Carrera 4 Coupe finished in Polar Silver elegantly paired to a classic gray leather interior. This 993 was sold new in CT and eventually found its way to NY in 2006, where it currently resides with its second and current owner. This Carrera 4 is showing 63k miles on the odometer and is stated to be very well-sorted with no issues.
There are no signs of accidents or previous damage, which is supported by the Carfax report. The car presents itself as a very honest and original example, still retaining its original stone guards. There are a few scratches noted on the rear bumper and chips on the front bumper. The seller did an excellent job in providing a comprehensive photo gallery, showing the true condition of this 993. The desirable rear window wiper is still intact and in working condition.
The all-original gray interior is in excellent condition and features factory sport seats, silver gauges, aluminum door sills and carbon accents; setting this interior apart from the pack.
This 993 retains its original normally aspirated flax-six engine delivering power to all four wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission. The seller reports that the car was taken to a local independent Porsche specialist on an annual basis for routine maintenance. The car is stated to be in excellent running condition.
The 993 is a very special Porsche for many reasons, however, it gets the most notoriety for being the very last air-cooled 911 produced. The Carrera 4 model has a few small visual details to help differentiate it from the C2 including a shorter shifter with a titanium shifter plate, silver painted calipers, and “Carrera 4” script embossed on the center caps.
This car includes a clean Carfax, two keys, books, and recent service records.

Photos of the underside provided by the seller have been added to the listing.

I have arranged for some undercarriage photos to go up tomorrow. Can assure everyone that this is a very solid and nice car that was never wrecked or tracked.
@P_car , thanks for pointing out this significant change. I thought before it was the angle of the engine photo. I had looked before and did not see the distinct varioram manifold.

@P_car you are correct and thank you for pointing it out. I mistakenly submitted the wrong year. I notified the site and they said it would be fixed asap
This nice looking 993 is listed as 1996 C4 but clearly it’s pre-Varioram era and must be 1995 (?)
Also, is the muffler original or tips changed / updated — a big plus would be to see the undercarriage ...GLWTA

@brucege39 Thanks. I know what you mean about the bumpers and I have gone so far as to have a discussion with a painter i know well who has indicated there is always a slight colour variation, even from a German factory! Look forward to the further pictures and answers.
@Carnird no need to be sorry! All legitimate stuff. I am sending a pic of the label to PCAR for them to upload. Should be up soon. I had the car a long time, never had the bumper resprayed. Could just be a typical color variation from time (my friend has this on his white one). I will certainly give it a closer look for you. I will also try to get some underside pics.
Nice looking C4 in a great colour. Can you give us a picture of the option sticker? Is that the original radio? Has the front bumper been repainted as it appears slightly off shade in some pictures and there is a minor alignment issue on the LF with the edge of the fender. Also I could not see page 2 of 5 from the Carfax. Do you have any pictures of underside? Thanks and sorry for the long list.
