Up for auction is this 1995 Porsche 993 Carrera Coupe. Representing the final generation of the air-cooled 911, the 993 was unveiled in 1994 and featured extensive upgrades over its predecessors. Purchased by its 3rd and current owner in 2002, this 993 has been responsibly and sparingly enjoyed on the streets of Austin, Texas since new. Showing 79k original miles, this dealer-maintained and properly sorted 993 is now available for auction in excellent driver’s-grade condition.
Finished in Guards Red, this 993's paint is stated to be in excellent condition, bearing only mileage-appropriate paint chips that have been touched up. The seller does note that the side stone guards exhibit some clouding, but this car otherwise shows very nicely. Currently installed are a set of aftermarket 17” Turbo Twist wheels that are wrapped in fresh Bridgestone Potenza tires. Always garage kept, this 993 is very clean, a true time capsule of a car. Paint meter readings are provided in the photo gallery.
Resulting from an improved rear suspension, the 993 offered a quieter and more comfortable ride than any previous 911 model. This 993 has been tastefully optioned with a gray partial leather interior. The driver’s seat does show some expected wear along with a few scuffs below the steering wheel, but the rest of the interior appears to be in very well-kept condition. All accessories and electronics are in good working order including the factory sunroof and radio head unit.
Boasting factory upgrades in nearly every category, the 993 featured a revolutionary alloy multi-link rear suspension, upgraded power steering, new dual-flow exhaust and larger brakes. Power comes from a 3.6L flat-six engine which sends 270HP to the rear wheels by way of a refined 6-speed manual transmission. Bone stock, this car accelerates from 0-60 in approximately five seconds and reaches top speeds of nearly 170mph. Always dealer maintained, this 993 recently passed Porsche of Austin’s comprehensive 35 multi-point inspection. Other than a new A/C compressor, only a standard service was suggested; a testament not only to the build quality, but to the care this car has received during its time on the road.
Included in the sale of this exquisite 1995 Coupe are maintenance records from 2005 as well as original books and documentation. A clean, accident-free Carfax report along with a fresh service means this 993 is ready to be enjoyed for many more years to come. Do not miss your opportunity to bid on this lovely driver’s grade 993, the last of the air cooled 911.

Sold for $44,243
NOTE: Although PCARMARKET has the car shown as "Sold," the sale was not actually completed. After the auction ended, the winning bidder was not able to fulfill his obligations. As a result, the car was relisted by PCARMARKET in a second auction. The car is currently in the DealTank.
@Raph right, they just serviced the car and said that I had no issue with leaks. I think all of these 993s have a little “seepage” but I’m not aware of any leaks.
@jlma-tex ///normal no leaks you mean?
Ok I just want to make sure Car I’m bidding is solid , as you can tell I’m newbie in the bidding world.

@u00rzo1 Hello and thanks for the question. The short answer is that I don't have any other wheels. These 17" "Turbo Twist" wheels were on the car when I purchased it and I didn't get any other wheels. The wheels are stamped "Cup 3" and "Made in Italy." Based on my research, I believe these wheels are the so-called "Mille Miglia" Cup 3 wheels that were available for the 993. I haven't ever been able to find out if these wheels were put on at purchase by the dealer/original owner or added later. Thanks! Jeff
Are original rims available/included?
