Up for auction is this 1995 993 Carrera 4 Cabriolet presented in Grand Prix White over a Navy Blue leather interior. Purchased in 1998 at the end of its initial 3-year lease, this 993 has been painstakingly maintained by its current owner for the last 21 years. Highlighting all-wheel drive performance coupled with an open-air driving experience, this Carrera 4 shows approximately 56k miles on the odometer and is now being offered for auction by a seller in New York.
The Grand Prix White finish on this 993 is stated to be in outstanding condition. Detailed images of the exterior are provided in the photo gallery along with recent paint meter readings. The cabriolet top was replaced a few years ago with an original-material German Happich unit. A new passenger side stone guard has been installed along with a replacement tinted windshield and in-glass antenna. This 993 rides on factory 17" wheels which come dressed in recently fitted 205-50ZR-17/255-40ZR-17 Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires. The seller states that these wheels remain in great condition bearing only minor road-going wear.
The Navy Blue leather interior appointed on this 993 is said to be in excellent condition for its age. Upgrades include a leather steering wheel cover, a Viper alarm system with keyless entry, and custom Lloyd floor mats with “Carrera 4” embroidery. An audiophile’s dream, this Carrera’s sound system has been upgraded with an Alpine AM-FM radio and Alpine CHM-S600 6-CD changer mounted in the trunk. This system also includes four midrange speakers and four tweeters from Boston Acoustics, each pair having its own powered crossover-amplifier. Commanding an original sticker price of approximately $80k, this 993 boasts the following factory options:
This 993 carries a 3.6L flat-six engine rated at approximately 270 HP and 243 lb-ft of torque. Power is distributed to all four wheels by way of a smooth 6-speed manual transmission with limited slip differential. Using this powertrain, the 993 Carrera 4 Cabriolet achieves 0-60 in approximately 5.2 seconds while maxing out at speeds upwards of 170 mph. Reported to be up-to-date on all due maintenance, this 993 stands in excellent driving condition. During a recent service, the brake fluid was flushed and the following items were replaced:
The sale of this exquisite 993 will include original books and documentation, an unused spare tire, full toolkit, jack, air compressor, two sets of keys, original floor mats, and a custom made matching blue and white Afghan. This vehicle is accompanied by a clean Carfax report as well as a clear New York title in the seller’s name. Showcasing phenomenal factory specifications while remaining in highly original condition, this 993 might just be the air-cooled car you’ve been waiting for.

Bidders, I wanted to point out that the sale includes: service records for the last 21 years, 2 cd changer cartridges, remote for the radio, 2 Viper alarm/keyless entry remotes, 2 keys, and Porsche wheel locks and key.
@gazeuk Yes, always kept in a garage. Never out in snow or on sanded or salted roads after a snowfall. Have been caught in the rain on occasion but I don't take it out if rain is expected only because I like to keep it very clean at all times.

@Silver930 While the new PDKs are great, purists love the 6 speed, and I find it to be more fun and engaging.

My favorite Porsche was my 1995 993 that I first saw as they were unloading it at Scottsdale Porsche. I went inside the dealership and said "I'll take it." Great decision and a fantastic car.
This one looks immaculate. Someone is going to be a lucky new owner.
