Available for auction at no reserve is this 1995 Mercedes-Benz A124 E320 Convertible finished in Black over a Beige leather interior. Over the course of its production run, approximately 12k hand-built A124 E320 Convertibles were sold by Mercedes-Benz for an original sticker price of nearly $80k. This 1995 example was acquired by its seller approximately 18 months ago, and came factory equipped with power-adjustable heated front seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, a power roll bar, and more. It is now being offered for auction at no reserve by its seller out of California while showing just over 177k miles on the odometer.
The E320 comes finished in Black (040) with contrasting gray bumpers and lower body cladding and a power retractable cabriolet top in Black. The seller notes the finish shows chips and swirl marks commensurate with normal use, and has provided detailed photos which can be found in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. Equipment includes headlight washers and wipers, a power antenna, and chrome-finished 15″ eight-hole alloy wheels dressed in a set of Sentury Touring tires.
Inside, the four-place cabin is Beige leather with matching door panels and a lower dashboard. The floors are lined with beige carpeting and burl-wood trim accents the dashboard, center console, and door panels. The seller notes peeling and cracking on some surfaces, and some discoloration of plastic trim pieces. Amenities include a power roll bar, automatic climate control, cruise control, power-adjustable front seats with driver’s position memory, heated front seats, a power-adjustable steering column, an active bass loudspeaker sound system with a trunk-mounted CD changer, a wind deflector, and a glass rear window with defrost.
Power comes from an M104 3.2-liter inline 6-cylinder engine which produced up to 217 HP when new. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 4-speed automatic transmission. The CARFAX includes 13 service history records dating back as far as 2002, and receipts indicate that the transmission was rebuilt under previous ownership in 2018. Under the care of the seller, the alternator and battery are said to have been replaced within the last six months.

@Dentalflosstycoon No records of the wiring harness being replaced. There are no electrical or drivability issues to my knowledge.
@AIR_MotorSports just posted a video of the convertible top going up and down. hopefully Pcarmarket can get it up quickly for you guys.
@beesonjohn94 Are there any records of wiring harness replacement (it doesn't look like it but best to double check). Are there any electrical gremlins or drivability issues that could be related to insulation degradation?

@AIR_MotorSports Tag are current, there is no known issues with the car that would prevent such a drive. The car did have its alternator replaced recently. The convertible top is fully functional, i will work on getting you a video of that today.
Will you please post a video of the top in operation, both opening and closing. Does the car need anything at this time, and is there any issue that would prevent it from being driven to Northern California immediately after purchase? Are tags current? Thanks

@Tirefriar The a/c blows cold and works through all vents. The car passed smogged in 01/2022 and will come with a brand new never installed Catalytic Converter
Please advise on the automatic climate control. Does it function properly, a/c blows cold through the selected vents? Is the car being sold with the valid smog certificate? Thank you.
