Up for auction is this custom restored 1995 Land Rover Defender 110 Soft Top. Created by an independent builder based out of New York, this 1995 example was imported from Europe before undergoing a complete chassis-off restoration including new galvanized body panels, all-new suspension and brakes, rebuilt axles, and a new GM LS3 V8 engine paired with a new automatic transmission. The cabin was also completely reupholstered in brown leather and outfitted with modern electronics, air conditioning, and a new Alpine Bluetooth stereo system with a backup camera. Having traveled just over 20 miles since the completion of the build, this one-of-a-kind Defender is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York.
The Defender 110 was comprehensively disassembled before the chassis was sandblasted and powder-coated. Five new galvanized doors were sourced along with a new hood and front fenders. The body was finished in a nonmetallic shade of tan and paired with a new removable soft top and frame. Detailed images are provided in the photo gallery. Other additions include new sidestep bars, new exterior lighting, and a new spare wheel carrier. This 110 rides on a set of new military-style steel wheels which are powder-coated to match the exterior and come dressed in Goodyear Wrangler MT/R tires.
Inside, the cabin has been completely redone with new brown quilted leather upholstery and modern electronics including a 9” Alpine touchscreen stereo with an integrated backup camera and Bluetooth/USB compatibility. New gauges were added including a GPS speedometer, and a modern air-conditioning system was also integrated for driver comfort.
Power comes from a new GM LS3 V8 engine rated at 430 HP. All four wheels are driven through a new GM 6L80E automatic transmission paired with a 1:2 ratio transfer case rebuilt by Ashcroft Transmissions in the U.K. The axles have been rebuilt, the suspension was completely replaced, an upgraded ABS brake system has been installed, and a new exhaust was added along with a new radiator and fuel pump. Barely any miles have been driven since the completion of the restoration and the builder has offered to provide a 1-year powertrain warranty.
This sale will include a clean title. Just in time for summer, this custom restored 110 Soft Top offers modern performance and comfort coupled with the timeless styling of Land Rover's Defender. Do not let this opportunity pass you by.

@Farmhouse27 I’m sure that’s true, it looks extremely well done. Would be helpful to see how the upper half of the doors function as well as how the top lays out.
@1996C4S everything is brand new. This is virtually a brand new vehicle
Can you please post pictures with the soft top on? As well as some additional pictures indicating the overall condition of the top? Thx!
