Finished in Black Clearcoat over a Saddle leather interior, it features a black soft top, 17” cast-aluminum wheels, sport bucket seats, power accessories, air conditioning, an AM/FM stereo with cassette and CD player, and more. Showing just over 62k miles on the odometer, this rare SVT Cobra Convertible is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Texas accompanied by a signed Ford Special Vehicle Team Certificate. 

The SVT Cobra features unique design elements, including an aggressive front bumper with fog lights, a Cobra grille, Cobra-specific taillights with horizontal bars, and a COBRA-embossed rear bumper. Finished in Black Clearcoat with a replacement black soft top, this example rides on 17” cast-aluminum wheels with BFGoodrich G-Force Sport Comp 2 tires from 2019. Additional details include hood vents, a rear spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets. The seller notes a ding near the driver’s door handle and scratches on the passenger-side front wheel arch. The hood and rear bumper were replaced with 1996 versions before 2009. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report noting damage from a right front collision with a stationary object in April 1996.

The cabin offers articulated front bucket seats upholstered in tan Saddle leather, with a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. The engine equips an underdrive pulley, upgraded camshafts, rockers, and lifters (with replaced components included), rebuilt heads, a fuel management chip, and a performance clutch. The SVT Cobra features a suspension system tuned for improved handling, including stiffer springs, performance shocks, and thicker sway bars compared to the Mustang GT, an independent MacPherson strut front suspension, and a solid rear axle with a 4-link setup. Braking is facilitated by four-wheel disc brakes with larger rotors and dual-piston calipers, complemented by a standard ABS (Anti-lock Braking System).
