Among the most iconic sports cars of the 1990s, the Pininfarina-designed F355 became one of Ferrari's most successful models. This 1995 example features a 6-speed gated manual transmission along with a color combination of Argento Nurburgring over a black and red leather interior. A lifelong Texas car, this Ferrari F355 is now being offered for auction showing approximately 51k miles on the odometer.

This example comes finished in the rarely seen color of Argento Nurburgring. Details include distinctive pop-up headlights, fog lights, side air intakes, a vented engine cover, quad exhaust pipes, and "Flying Buttress" rear pillars. The factory 18” 5-spoke wheels come dressed in a set of new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. The seller states many panels have been refinished by the specialists at a Ferrari body shop in Houston, and paint protection film covers the front end of the car. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The cabin is upholstered in black leather with contrasting red leather surrounds. Details include a polished gated shifter, F355 badge on the passenger-side dashboard, drilled aluminum pedals, Ferrari-branded door sill guards, embossed Ferrari badges in the headrests, chrome-ringed Veglia instrumentation, and auxiliary gauges in the center stack for fuel level and coolant temperature. The seller adds that carbon fiber trim pieces and an aftermarket stereo have been installed. All gauges and electronics are stated to be working properly.

The F355 is powered by a mid-mounted 3.5L naturally aspirated V8 with 5 valves per cylinder, titanium connecting rods, and dry-sump lubrication resulting in a power output of 375 HP and 258 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven by a 6-speed manual gearbox and limited-slip differential, allowing acceleration from 0-60 MPH in 4.5 seconds with a top speed of 183 MPH. Additionally, an aftermarket Stebro stainless-steel exhaust has been installed. The seller states there are no outstanding maintenance items at this time, and a host of service documentation will accompany the sale.

This sale will include a clean title.

Good morning Pcar community. 8 hours or so left on this one. It's hard to explain how nice this car is, so bid with confidence.

    GLWTA

@Tarek307 in one of the invoices from Ferrari of houston you can see that they ordered two brand new seats from ferrari Italy. The previous client was quite particular and instead of recovering or dying he chose to order two new seats.

  • Tarek307 (registered bidder) 1 year, 7 monthsago

were these the actual original seats in the car? i'd imagine they were probably also Red and someone switched them out, correct?

  • VikingH (seller) 1 year, 7 monthsago

@btiedema1 I do not have the original exhaust and stereo, but they can be sourced.

  • btiedema1 (registered bidder) 1 year, 7 monthsago

Does the car come with original exhaust and stereo?

Great color combination and nice to see the cheap OEM rust prone door sill guards replaced with really nice carbon fiber. Car looks exquisitely detailed.

  • Actfsu (registered bidder) 1 year, 7 monthsago

Thank you for the info and the fast response

  • VikingH (seller) 1 year, 7 monthsago

@Actfsu it was around 2010, but the car has been in a climate control garage since.. PPF is on the front so can be replaced. car shows in amazing shape.

  • Actfsu (registered bidder) 1 year, 7 monthsago

When was the repaint done? The yellowing of the PPF makes me think 10+ years ago

  • closingtime (registered bidder) 1 year, 7 monthsago

I have a similar two tone red/black interior in my nero carbonio metallic F355 GTS and the car receives tons of compliments. It's a rare spec and the upgrades appear to have been tastefully done. 51k miles is nothing; these cars need to be driven! GLWS!

@Tarek307 I added pictures of the 2 invoices and will try to get Pcar to add clearer copies Monday. last belt was early 22, not late 21

@Tarek307 Major rebuild was done at Ferrari of houston in 2010 with 43k miles.

last belt service done end of 2021 and 300 miles ago.

Have sent both of those invoices to PCAR to post.

  • Tarek307 (registered bidder) 1 year, 7 monthsago

The obvious question and missing piece of information - when was the major done , don’t care about Miles- what was the date of the major ? Thx

@VikingH Excellent, thank you. Well let's get this started then...

  • VikingH (seller) 1 year, 7 monthsago

@jmorin Good morning, Paintwork was done at Ferrari of houston's body shop. panels were pulled off car and painted and replaced and you can not tell it wasn't factory. client was extremely particular as he owned a yacht detailing company. He repainted anything with rock chips or scratches. pain looks amazing and there is ppt on the front. no damage was on the car other than rock chips.

all sticky buttons have been refinished. and the interior is also like new.

I sent a scanned copy of the major engine rebuild done at ferrari of houston as well as the last complete belt service 200 miles ago. the service file is ridiculous as you will see some photos just added. I have 300+ pages so difficult to scan all. I also have pictures of every stage of the rebuild as well as some photos of the paint work. This is the nicest 355 I have seen in decades. and the most extensively serviced 355 I have come across.

you will see I took a picture of the stack of service invoices and pictures in front of a tape measure.

Nice looking car. A few questions:
    1) Can you comment on the nature of the paintwork? Why, how extensive, who did the work, and when?
    2) There do not appear to be any sticky buttons. Were they refinished?
    3) Can you post the service history?

    Thanks.
