Representing the second-generation BMW M3, the E36 boasts finely tuned handling dynamics and is powered by the renowned S50 inline-six engine, embodying the timeless design philosophy of BMW. Acquired from a collector in Tennessee in 2022 after being imported from Japan, this 1995 example is finished in Cosmos Black Metallic over matching Nappa leather upholstery. It is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission, factory-specified limited-slip differential, a sunroof, 17″ Style 22 wheels, heated front Vader seats, cruise control, and dual-zone climate control. Showing just over 75k miles on the odometer, this M3 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Virginia.

This M3 Coupe comes finished in Cosmos Black Metallic (303) and can be distinguished from the standard 3-Series by its more aggressive bumpers, side skirts, aerodynamic mirrors, and M3 badging. Factory equipment includes a sunroof, integrated fog lights, dual exhaust outlets, and 17” Style 22 wheels. The seller notes minor surface scratches, and detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The cabin presents Black Nappa (N5SW) leather upholstery featuring sought-after “Vader” sports seats. It comes equipped with an M-sport multifunction steering wheel, a HiFi speaker system, a cassette stereo, a trunk-mounted 6-disc CD changer, an electric sunroof, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, an on-board computer, and cruise control. The seller mentions some warping on the door cards. All gauges and electronics are reported to be working properly.

Power is derived from a S50B30US 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine, delivering a factory-rated 240 HP and 225 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels by way of a 5-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The seller reports the car underwent a recent oil change, along with a control arm bushing replacement.

This sale will include a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: “Extremely nice and clean M3 runs and drives as nice as it looks. Adult-driven and garaged.”

Nice M3! But thought I read somewhere that the Japan market E34 M3 got the more powerful 286hp Euro engine, no? Though I could be wrong, read that a while ago. Thanks & you have a sweet M3 in any event!
