Up for auction is a bespoke, 1995 Porsche 993 with the extremely desirable RWB conversion package. RWB (Rauh-Welt Begriff) Porsche customizer, Akira Nakai, creates some of the most recognizable cars in the world. The cars are so interesting and badass that they are featured on Instagram posts with unmatched frequency. The wide fenders and massive wings come together to form a unique and sinister looking beast.
The vehicle offered here underwent the RWB conversion in May of 2016 under the commission of the previous owner in San Mateo, CA at Fatlace. The owner chose a desirable 993 variant of the 911 as the donor car and started with an accident-free coupe that now shows 104,316 on the odometer. The car was stripped to bare metal in preparation for the build. During the process, a sunroof delete was executed keeping with the overall serious, racecar vibe of the RWB. The color choice for the build is this stunning Liquid Metal Metallic.
Much attention went into the cockpit and once inside you will find many tasteful enhancements that compliment this RWB package perfectly. The owner went for a track-inspired vibe, starting with the rear seat delete and new Recaro Pole Position seats up front. Black leather covers the seats while Alcantara drapes the dash, door panels, and headliner. Other features are the Alcantara wrapped steering wheel, inclusion of Rennline trim pieces and red RS door straps. This all ties in to create a feel that is very unique even among other 911’s.
Power comes from a 3.6 liter air-cooled flat-six and is delivered to the rear wheels via the ultra-desirable 6-speed manual gearbox. The seller states that the car is in excellent running condition and that this month the car was just serviced with fluids, new spark-plugs, and a new battery in preparation of the sale. It is disclosed that a warning light is displayed on the dash due to the deletion of the retractable spoiler and sunroof. The seller also mentioned that the odometer stopped working roughly 7 days prior to the auction and that he has the car registered as a classic vehicle due to the fact that it will require some work to pass a smog test. During the recent service, he was informed that there was approximately 5,000 miles of life left on the clutch.
Wheel, tire and suspension info:
The sale will include a clean Carfax, 2 keys, and a clear title.

I’m still interested in this car, and reach me at: bcurtis@spectraresources.com
@Auriarte thanks for the quick reply, just something I noticed that was the pink elephant in the room so to say, non the less Im sure it's just a fitment issue which can be fixed hopefully with out too much work. non the less the rest of the car looks nice.
@oakman hey- No collision work done on the rear whatsoever. It’s been off and on a few times and maybe just not tightened down enough. I’ve never noticed it but I can send some very detailed and up close videos of it. Won’t be an issue.
Bid in the amount of $87,500
Any collision work done on the rear? Noticed rear deck lid fits wonky, gaps look bad for a car of this caliber. Surprised It passed Makai-San
Bid in the amount of $85,500
@RenegadeLV the HLS is front only and in perfect working condition. It’s a true blessing to have it since the vehicle sits so low. Helps with getting into my driveway and speed-bumps. Recently topped off with HLP-32 hydraulic oil
A/C blows cold and works. Never tried the heat. A/C recharge and flush was done in 9/2016.
All oil cooling fans were replaced when doing RWB build in 2016. Car runs fine in 100+ degree heat
There is no RWB build video as the owner chose not too. Please check out some other videos online to see the quality craftsman ship of Nakai-San. You can find one short video on YouTube after the build. I’ll send in another link.
One last thing to mention to everyone, the car has Rennline billet engine covers that I forgot to mention in original post.

Will post more pictures of engine bay or private message you, or both.
Thanks -

Hi @auriarte - Is the KW HLS system working and is it front only?
Is there a build video on YouTube I can view?
Can you include more pictures of the engine bay?
Important for the air-cooled motors, when is the last time the oil cooler fans have been repaired or serviced ?
Does the A/C work? Noticed the vents are still there with mostly everything else deleted.

@Chuck246cp hey Chuck. That’s correct, NA 3.6L. Only modifications are the Fabspeed exhaust and Fabspeed Carbon Fiber Heat Duct. Runs great, no issues whatsoever.
Bid in the amount of $6,000
It really appears that nothing dramatic has been done to the engine. It is a normally aspirated 993 3.6. Is this correct? Thx Chuck
@SalvatoreGagootz yes, same paint code as the Porsche color on the 918. Original owner has 3 918’s and one being liquid metal so they provided him with the code
Is the car painted in the same liquid metal color code that Porsche uses on their 918?
@ChrisA I’m not aware of your states emission laws but my vehicle does not have catalytic converter’s which is why I didn’t pass Nevada’s.
Bid in the amount of $5,000
Could you provide further details about the emissions issue, this car is not old enough for me to gain exemption and I would therefore need to make it emissions compliant. Thanks Chris
