We are pleased to present this incredibly rare 1995 Porsche 993 Carrera 4 Coupe equipped with the coveted X51 power package from the factory. Possibly a one-of-one example, this 993 is factory finished with a substantial amount of exclusive options most notable of which is the upgraded 3.8L engine similar to the one found in the legendary 993 RS! Also unique to this example is an M030 suspension upgrade, sunroof delete, and a rarely-seen color combination. This Carrera 4 was originally delivered new to Japan, spending its entire life with the original owner before making its way to the US just this year thanks to a release in import restrictions. This collector-grade 993 is now easily accessible and not to be overlooked.
This Carrera 4 is finished in eye-catching Iris Blue Metallic, a color seldom seen on 993 models. Detailed images of the vehicle’s exterior are available in the photo gallery, showing how well-cared for this car has been by its first and only owner. A few key exterior features include a sunroof delete and rear window wiper. This 993 rides on its original set of Cup wheels which are wrapped in brand new Michelin Pilot Sport tires.
The distinctive character of this Carrera 4 is carried throughout the interior with its unique blue leather finish, power/heated front seats, and factory Blaupunkt head unit. All electronics and accessories are said to be in working order.
From the factory, this Carrera 4 was equipped with the coveted X51 power package. This package increases the vehicle’s performance by utilizing a larger 3.8L flat-six engine which boosts power output by approximately 15HP. This option was not available for US-spec Carrera 4 models, making this example that much more special. This car is also equipped with an M030 sport suspension which includes upgraded shocks, springs, and sway bars compared to stock suspension. Power is sent to all-four wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission. Said to be properly maintained throughout its life, this 911 is up-to-date on all service and is ready to be enjoyed by its next owner.
The sale will include a full build sheet, service records since new, and original tools.

@brownan Hi there! Yes, feel free to stop by anytime next week, our hours are 9AM-5:30PM!
Thank you

@cooperclassics Mathias, I am in SoHo, is the car at your place on Perry St? If so perhaps I can swing past next week. Cheers.
@brownan We felt the same way, until we discovered this car! With the 3.8L, it is a sleeper in its own discrete way. Having driven this car, it feels quite a bit more peppy than any other 3.6L 993 I've driven. I was actually quite surprised at how lively it felt!

Fascinating. Didn't know this existed. A 1995 "narrow" C4 is something I've always wanted. Drove one once and found it very special.
@rhmoritz Also, the car does indeed have catalytic converters. Thank you.
@rhmoritz Hello! The car comes with a clean BC Title, which will come with a NY MV-50 which transfers the car to you. It will come with all required customs documents to register it in the state of your choosing (except possibly California, but we are not sure and any potential buyers should look into that).
The underbody is spotless without even a suggestion of rust. Here are some underbody photos that we took quickly. https://imgur.com/a/k328F3O. Let me know if you're looking to see anything in particular! -Mathias
Clean NY title? Cats? Undercarriage photos available?
I’ve collected over 40 Porsches in the last 30 years, most of them air cooled, . I had no idea this car was ever created. Seems 300 were produced with zero for the US. Based on this rarity of a coveted model such as the 993, extra European performance bits etc, what is this worth? Is it $200k. Is it $300k or is it more? It’s amazing how you are always learning something as a Porsche collector. All i know is that this is a jewel found in this modern day.

Sounds like this PORSCHE may not pass inspection for road use in all 50 states.

A factory spec-sheet has been added to the listing for this rare and interesting 993. Best of luck to the seller and future buyer.
