The final evolution of Porsche’s iconic 928 grand tourer, the GTS model featured a 350-horsepower 5.4L V8 along with flared rear fenders and a body-colored spoiler. One of only 139 North American examples produced for the model year, this 1994 Porsche 928 GTS is finished in Midnight Blue Metallic over Light Grey leather and features a 4-speed automatic gearbox. Originally delivered in the U.S., this GTS was imported to Canada in 2015 and acquired by the current owner in 2025. It is now being offered for auction out of British Columbia.

This 928 comes finished in Midnight Blue Metallic (L39C) and features GTS-specific rear fender flares, a body-colored rear spoiler, Cup design mirrors, and a continuous red light band spanning between the taillights. Other equipment includes pop-up headlights, integrated fog lights, a sunroof, and silver 17” Cup 2 wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The front and rear bumpers have been refinished, and minor imperfections are noted throughout. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

Inside, the driver is greeted with Light Grey (MX) leather upholstery. Factory equipment includes optional increased air conditioning efficiency, as well as an electric sliding sunroof and full power accessories. A crack is noted on the dashboard, and the CARFAX report indicates a potential odometer rollback in May 2017.

Factory-rated at 345 HP and 369 lb-ft of torque, the 5.4-liter V8 DOHC engine includes four valves per cylinder and drives the rear wheels through a 4-speed automatic transaxle. The GTS comes standard with larger black-painted 4-piston aluminum brakes, and this example benefits from more robust connecting rods introduced during the 1994 model year. The seller adds that the fluids were recently changed and welcomes inspections.

Nice car, but...
With an addl 20% (5% auction fees + 12.5% tariffs + 2.5% border fees) of the selling price, $2500 in shipping, $5K in maint, and $2K for a rear wing, you've got an expensive GTS automatic. If the timing of this sale was different and I had my 89 928 5-spd sold, I might have been a bit more motivated.
Congrats Bears.

30 minutes left! Best of luck to all bidders. Let’s find this 928 a great home today. With values on these cars continuing to climb, this is a fantastic opportunity to own one at a fraction of the price of a low-mileage, manual “garage queen.”
We have top-tier brokerage and enclosed transport in place to handle all paperwork seamlessly and ensure secure delivery to your doorstep—at very competitive rates.
Bid with confidence and don’t miss out!
@ThePorscheMan thank you. Unfortunately, when we received the vehicle, the spoiler was already missing. Thankfully, these are fairly easy to source—either directly from Porsche, through eBay, or via one of the many 928 specialists who typically have them available at reasonable prices.
@VTBlue Hi there, unfortunately this vehicle has been in Canada for over three years, which means the applicable tariffs would now apply. Since it originally came from the U.S., it would have needed to return within that three-year window to qualify for duty-free re-entry.
@MichaelAnderson thank you!
@Nebraska Thanks for the question. All the gauges are functioning properly and the A/C was recently recharged. The light on the dash is due to a faulty rear wiring harness for the tail lights—we’ve already sourced the replacement and will have it installed before the car leaves our hands.
On the import side, there’s currently some variation in what brokers are seeing. A few have been able to clear these cars at 2.5%, while our main broker has advised 12.5%. It really comes down to the approach—you can attempt the 2.5% route, though there’s a chance you may get a follow-up bill. That said, we’ve had a number of buyers cross at 2.5% without issue.
If you’d like, I can put you directly in touch with both brokers so you can weigh the options. Feel free to reach out to me anytime with more questions. Thank you!

Hello seller,
Could you address questions:
Do all lights, gauges, electric seats and rear hatch release function as they should? Is AC functioning and blowing cold? In the driving video there seemed to be a red light on the far right of the instrument cluster, what is that light indicating?
Can you please clarify the percentage of fee to bring the car back to U.S.? There was mention of the 2.5% and then 12.5%. Is one the broker fee and other the U.S. tax?
Thank you for reply.

Beautiful GTS !
Bid in the amount of $22,000
Absolutely stunning in Midnight Blue!
Best wishes.
If this was originally a US car as noted, I am not sure the tariff or even the duty applies. I am far from an expert but I do believe the fact it was a US car affects its treatment.
"flared rear fenders and a body-colored spoiler. "
Hi, lovely car.
Where's the body coloured spoiler?
The tires seem to be 8yo, are they going to be replaced?
Thank you and GLWTS.

@Highflyer12 Thank you @Highflyer12 I’ll move that today.
Beautiful GTS w/o rub strips! You have the rear wiper over to the wrong side of the hatch glass. It’s supposed to sit on the left side behind the driver when not in use. You have it over on the right side. This is a simple fix, open the rear hatch and simply pull it over to the left side with your hand then close the hatch, problem fixed! Good luck with the auction.
Just got off the phone with my broker—confirmed that 25-year-old and older vehicles from the EU entering the U.S. are currently subject to a 12.5% flat tariff.
We work with an exceptional broker who takes care of all the import paperwork and ensures a seamless process. They’re also aligned with trusted enclosed transportation services, delivering right to your doorstep at very competitive rates.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly for a tailored quote or with any additional questions.
Thank you, and best of luck to all bidders!
@husker_boxster Recent service was down including the fluids we do not have an accurate date of timing belt, pump and lines being completed. I would advise the new owner to address these details.
@DMi Brake light is due to faulty rear passenger wiring harness which we have ordered and will be installed before handed to the new owner.
@Epicmc as far as I know the bumpers have been painted along with the rear hatch when spoiler was removed. This is an excellent driver quality 928.
Is the paint original?
Is the far red light on in the instrument cluster due to low brake fluid, ABS? Any info on that?
When were the following items last replaced - timing belt / water pump, fuel lines, power steering lines, and trans fluid?

For all interested bidders, we work with an excellent broker, TFX, who can seamlessly handle both the paperwork and enclosed transport back into the USA—at just 2.5%. We’re happy to assist with arrangements and provide a tailored transportation quote to your doorstep.
Feel free to reach out via direct message with any questions. Bid with confidence—this is a fantastic little car that has only continued to appreciate in value.
@Spokayman @estiles001 The rear spoiler was professionally removed by the previous owner while the car was in the U.S., and unfortunately, it didn’t come with the car when it was imported to Canada. That said, they’re not difficult to source—spoilers regularly come up on eBay and through 928 specialists. Installation is straightforward, requiring just four bolts, so the new owner can either handle it themselves or have a body shop fit it with ease. We can also help arrange this. In my opinion, the 928 has a much cleaner, sleeker look without the spoiler, but for those who prefer the factory look, it’s an inexpensive and fun piece to track down and add back on. Thank you.
@Rob-Edwards Thanks @Rob-Edwards Yes classic grey and in excellent condition to add. Definitely easier to keep clean as well.
@estiles001,
There’s quite a bit of discussion about the missing rear wing/spoiler on another (prior) auction.
Bottom line is no one seems to know why it’s missing, but the attachment holes seem to have been expertly filled in and painted.
Interior code MX is Classic Grey, not Light Grey. Which is good, as Light Grey is almost impossible to keep looking fresh.
Beautiful car, but I don’t see the spoiler that’s mentioned twice in the listing. What’s the story there?
