Available for auction is this 1994 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am finished in black over a tan leather interior. The fourth generation Firebird was launched in 1993 featuring more aerodynamic styling and the most powerful factory V8 engine in a Firebird since the Super-Duty 455 of 1974. This low-mileage 1994 example is believed to have remained with its original owner until 2021 when it was acquired by its second owner out of New Jersey. This Trans Am comes equipped with a 5.7-liter LT1 V8 engine mated to a 6-speed transmission and a limited-slip differential. It also features leather upholstery, 17″ aluminum wheels, and a composite Ram Air hood. Additionally, it has been upgraded with a Vortech V1 supercharger, MagnaFlow exhaust system, performance anti-roll bars, SLP accessories, and more. It is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York while showing just over 6k miles on the odometer.

The design of the fourth-generation Firebird borrowed heavily from the 1988 Banshee IV and the 1989 California Camaro concepts, and much of the body was constructed from a rust-resistant composite material. This 1994 example is finished in black and features pop-up headlights, a composite Ram Air hood, removable T-top roof panels, and Firehawk badging. Other details include front fog lamps, a rear spoiler, dual Magnaflow exhaust tips, and a set of 17” aluminum Firehawk wheels dressed in Firestone Firehawk tires bearing from 2021 in front and 2019 in the rear. The seller states that the finish remains in excellent overall condition with some crazing beneath the taillights, a scuff on the hood, and some cracking and fading of Firehawk decals. The CARFAX indicates an accident with another vehicle occurred in 1997, and the seller states this resulted in the repair of the passenger rear quarter panel. A collection of images can be found in the gallery along with the full CARFAX report.

The cabin is highlighted by a pair of power-adjustable front bucket seats upholstered in tan leather along with matching door panels and carpets. Features include air conditioning, power locks and windows, cruise control, a Hurst shifter, and an SLP shift knob and plaque. In 2021, the driver's side window regulator was replaced. Some slight creasing is visible on the seat bolsters, and the seller confirms that all gauges and accessories remain functional.

Power comes from a 5.7-liter LT1 V8 engine which has been equipped with a Vortech V1 supercharger, an MSD 6 series ignition system, SLP headers, and a Magnaflow exhaust system. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission with a Centerforce clutch and a 3.42 limited-slip differential. The fourth generation Firebird came standard with four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, rack-and-pinion power steering, and a short/long-arm front suspension setup. The suspension has been upgraded with a Hotchkis performance anti-roll bar. In November of 2021, a service was carried out which included new spark plugs, distributor, front tires, front brake pads and rotors, a front-end alignment, a coolant flush, and a valve adjustment. More recently in preparation for sale, an oil and filter change was completed.

This sale will include owner’s literature and a clean title.

hello, my name is joe scarallo sr.i wish to add some color to the FIREHAWK STORY in general.
The ROH wheel factory in australia manufactured the wheel for the 1993 firehawk cars. my company designed the wheel and did all the fitment R&D and offsets that were used. we were the importer for ROH in the USA. we actually had a 9.5 version as well, but the factory being conservative chose the 8.5 version of the wheel for this car and the 94-96 SS impala.

do not have a dyno sheet. previous owner said it was set at the lowest boost. he was more turned on by the sound of the centrifugal blower on one side and the really awseome v8 sound of the magnaflow exhaust on the other side.
