Marking its return to Nissan's lineup after a hiatus since 1973, the Skyline GT-R reemerged as the R32 model in 1989. This iteration was designed to compete in Group A class racing with a new twin-turbocharged RB26DETT engine paired with the ATTESA all-wheel-drive system. This 1994 example is finished in Gun Grey Metallic and features a full upgraded engine rebuild that was completed in August 2021, 18” Work wheels, Zeal coilovers, Top Secret carbon dash shift knob and boot, and more. Reportedly driven just 4k miles since the engine rebuild, this R32 GT-R is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California.
Based on the standard R32 Skyline model, the GT-R benefits from wider fenders and side skirts, a larger rear wing, and a more aggressive front bumper & grille design. This 1994 example is finished in Gun Grey Metallic and has been modified with 18” Work wheels that have been powder-coated black and are wrapped in Continental control contact sport tires, as well as brake calipers painted in R35 GT-R OEM gold, and Nengun Performance smoked crystal indicators from Japan that have reportedly been discounted. The car is said to have received a two-step paint correction at NorCal Auto Spa in November of 2023, and the seller states that there is a small blemish on the front passenger side of the front bumper. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The righthand drive cabin is trimmed in factory black & grey upholstery and features an aftermarket hand-made fabric dash cover from Australia along with items from Top Secret Performance including a carbon dash cover, caliper matching gold-colored shift knob, and stitched shift & handbrake boots. Equipment includes power windows and mirrors, a central locking system, automatic climate control, and a factory AM/FM cassette stereo with PRO Acoustic Equalizer Sound. All gauges and accessories are said to be fully functional, and the seller notes four small holes for gauges on the passenger side, though they are concealed by the dash covers. Additionally, the seller recommends refinishing the steering wheel.
This R32 is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 2.6-liter RB26DETT inline-six engine that was factory-rated at up to 280 HP and 266 lb.-ft of torque. It drives all four wheels by way of a 5-speed manual transmission paired with an ATTESA all-wheel drive system. The seller notes the car had its engine completely rebuilt in August of 2021 and has been driven approximately 4k miles since the rebuild. The build is said to include CP pistons, Manley rods, ARP studs, Garrett turbochargers, aftermarket cams and injectors, a Blitz exhaust system, HKS wastegate actuators and air filters, and an N1 oil pump, all managed by a standalone AEM Infinity ECU. Additional modifications include Zeal coilovers. The seller also states that the spark plugs were replaced at Four B Auto Sevices in November of 2023.
This sale includes the owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a spare tire, an air pump, a car cover, a battery charger, an Audi R8 coil pack upgrade for a single turbo kit, the OEM shift knob and shift boot, the OEM handbrake boot, 3 OEM uncut GTR keys and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Thank you for visiting my listing! This beloved car has been one of my favorites to drive, enjoy, and stare at and I hope it goes to a rockstar owner who will take amazing care of her! I’ve spent the last year making this GTR drive flawlessly and look showroom-ready and she is now! If you want to be discreet this is not the car for you. She gets more thumbs up than any other car I've owned, including Italian supercars and highly modified German performance vehicles, among others. The 1994 model was the last year Nissan made the R32 and it has the safety door bars, upgraded headlights, widened oil pump drive, and the lighter and stronger cylinder block. It also has great-condition OEM seats and sound system, which are expensive and hard to replace. The undercarriage is super clean as you’ll see in the photos. Many I’ve encountered smell like cigarettes and this absolutely does not! The car has a full engine overhaul that was performed in August 2021 which included the installation of CP pistons, Manley connecting rods, ARP studs, and an N1 oil pump. Additional modifications consist of Garrett turbochargers, aftermarket camshafts, injectors, HKS wastegate actuators and air filters, an AEM Infinity ECU standalone, a Blitz exhaust system, 18" Work wheels, Zeal coilovers, and top secret carbon dash shift knob and boots. I also had the rims redone powder-coated black and the brakes powder-coated OEM Nissan gold all done at Wheel Repair Performance in San Jose CA and spark plugs replaced at Four B Auto Services last week. She’s had 2-step paint corrected at NorCal Auto Spa in San Jose California. The car has more than 34,000 dollars with mods including the rods pistons and machine shop work etc. The last thing I wanted to do on the car was refinish the valve covers but haven’t gotten to it although I can do it for the new owner!"
