Topping the model range of Mercedes’ R129 SL-Class roadster series, the SL600 came equipped with a 6.0-liter V12 engine that would go on to be adopted for the Pagani Zonda supercar. This 1994 example comes finished in Black over a matching leather interior with premium factory features. Initially delivered at Mercedes-Benz of Monterey, California, this SL600 has remained a lifelong California car and is now being offered for auction while showing just under 29k miles on the odometer.
This example comes finished in Black (040) with a matching convertible soft top and rides on 18” AMG Monoblock wheels dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 tires. Details include headlight wipers, fog lights, a power antenna, and side air vents with V12 badges. Detailed images of the exterior condition are depicted in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin presents black leather upholstery accented with burl wood veneers. Standard driver amenities include xenon headlamps, auto-dimming mirrors, seat position memory, power windows and steering column, cruise control, automatic climate control, and a Bose sound system. The stereo has been removed and is also said to accompany the sale.
A powerplant shared across the range of Pagani Zonda models, this SL600 is equipped with a 6.0-liter M120 V12 DOHC engine featuring 4 valves per cylinder and forged steel connecting rods. Up to 389 HP and 420 lb.-ft of torque is sent to the rear wheels through a 5-speed automatic transmission. Standard equipment includes Automatic Slip Control (ASR) and an Adaptive Damping System (ADS) with all-wheel automatic level control. The seller adds that an oil change and battery replacement have been completed in preparation for the sale, and the CARFAX report shows a total of 31 service history records dating back to the year 2000.
This sale will include a clean title, three keys, and owner’s manuals.

@iykyk the deal didn’t work out, it was my fault. The hardtop was put on the stand backwards by my caretaker & the headliner got damaged . I already had it replaced.

@cogswell, great looking SL but can you please explain what happened with the BaT auction for this exact car that ended just 10 days ago?? Did the car not sell? Bidder seemed to be a multiple time winner so seems unusual that they would flake. Curious what exactly is going on, thanks!

Hi & Welcome to this Auction on a rare V12 SL600 . These are very collectible & hard to find in this condition
With very low low miles . This car was one family owned & stored in a climate controlled warehouse its whole
Life . She has a current California Smog Certificate & Registration . The pictures do not do it justice , the shiny black paint reflects the ground & everything around it . It has just been serviced & inspected by my Mercedes Specialist & is turn key with its 3 Keys & Dealer Stamped Books . These are only going up in value so buy now while you can .
