An especially rare version of the venerable W463 G-Class Geländewagen, this 1994 Mercedes-Benz G350TD is a short-wheelbase two-door cabriolet equipped with a 3.5-liter turbodiesel engine. The vehicle is finished in Nautical Blue Metallic and is said to have undergone a restoration in Italy prior to being imported to the United States. Accompanied by extensive documentation, this seldom-seen G-Class cabriolet is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida.
This G-Wagon came factory painted in Nautical Blue Metallic (929) and is said to have been refinished during its restoration along with the replacement of all rubber gaskets and body seals. It is equipped with a matching removable hardtop as well as factory 18” Ashtaroth wheels in silver including a rear-mounted spare. Factory accessories include stainless-steel door sill moldings, a rear trailer hitch, a rear window wiper, and integrated front fog lights. The seller notes that new Michelin CrossClimate SUV tires were installed within the last 200 miles and the car has been restored to excellent overall condition, detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin is appointed with Grey leather and Burred Walnut wood veneers and includes heated front seats with armrests as well as a folding 50/50 split rear bench seat with headrests. Other accessories include a leather steering wheel and gear selector, heat-absorbing glass, an outside temperature indicator, a remote central locking system, power windows, a heat/fresh air blower, a driver’s airbag, black carpet floor mats, differential lock switches, and a factory Mercedes-Benz stereo system. The seller confirms all gauges and accessories remain fully functional.
A 3.5-liter inline 6-cylinder turbodiesel engine develops up to 150 HP and 310 lb.-ft of torque, driving all four wheels by way of a 4-speed 4G-Tronic automatic transmission and triple locking differentials. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with ABS. The seller reports there are no signs of rust or fluid leaks, the axles are properly greased, and all suspension bushings were replaced during the restoration.
This sale will include the original owner’s manuals, a spare wheel, and a collection of documentation.

No soft top. Just the hard top. @ezpz123z
Did this G originally have a soft top? Are the mechanicals still installed? What would it take to put the soft top back in if desired?

Do you have photos available of the restoration process?
Bid in the amount of $23,000
@Jimmy31974 that would be the only thing I can pick out. It is a very clean Truck.
I don't see any imperfections noted with exception to that small crack on the back of the rear seat. What other cosmetics defects does the car have?
Who did the restoration work?
@Registration Photos added. Look forward to your bids :-)

@Bulletmotorsportsinc @Bulletmotorsportsinc, I was hoping to get photos underneath the carpet from the interior. Thank you
That hardtop weighs a lot. Need 4 people to remove it!
@Albertnigri all depends on where it is done. Approx 4k to 6k.
@registration, Underside shots are in the gallery. There is no Rust.
Can you provide photos of the floorpans on driver and passenger sides? This one looks very clean but you can never be too careful with rust on these. Thanks!
@Bulletmotorsportsinc any idea on the approximate cost and procedure?
@Albertnigri yes it is possible and has been done before.
