The Land Rover Defender 90 remains a beloved icon in off-road vehicles, revered for its heritage, rugged capability, and timeless design. Crafted by East Coast Defender (ECD) Automotive Design of Kissimmee, Florida, in 2023, this 1994 example underwent a comprehensive restoration including a refinished in a custom Peppercorn Grey over a grey leather interior. It is powered by a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and features a Puma dashboard, Recaro Expert S seats, an air conditioning system, power windows and locks, 18” Kahn Design wheels, an upgraded suspension, and more. Previously listed on PCARMAKRET, this professionally restored and modified Defender 90 is now being offered for auction once again by its seller out of Georgia.

During its custom restoration, the body was refinished in Peppercorn Grey complemented by color-coordinated wheel arch flares. It has a front brush guard, sidestep bars, a roof basket, a rear ladder, a tubular rear bumper with a receiver hitch, and LED lighting. It rides on black-finished 18” Kahn Design 1983 wheels wrapped in a new set of BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires, and there is a matching spare at the swing-out rear. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report.

The interior features reupholstered grey leather Recaro Expert S seats with four matching rear inward-facing jump seats and new door panels. It has a customized, color-coordinated Puma dashboard and updated gauge instrumentation. Amenities include an air conditioning system, power windows and locks, and an infotainment system. All gauges and electronics are confirmed to be functioning properly, with no warning lights illuminated.

Power comes from a Chevrolet-sourced 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine, delivering a claimed 565 HP to all four wheels through a 6-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Performance enhancements include an adjustable air ride suspension and high-performance disc brakes on all four corners. The seller states that the drivetrain has covered 3,400 miles since restoration, and the vehicle has no outstanding service requirements.

This sale will include a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: “This vehicle was delivered from ECD in 2023 and has been garage-kept. The Defender is in excellent condition with only 3400 miles. Absolutely incredible vehicle to drive with the LS3 motor. Rides and drives like any modern-day vehicle with all the modern comfort features.”

I have been to ECD, did not want to pay 125K + build , but their work is incredible, the Defenders drive great with all modern conveniences, anything below 100k is truly sad for a vehicle of this caliber, but if a sale has to happen there will be a very lucky buyer, if I did not have a nice 1997 with new 4.0 I would be bidding .

Defenders values have fallen significantly in the market place. They have been overpriced for years.

Can you please post documentation of the build sheet from ECD? Thanks

  • hondafan (registered bidder) 2 monthsago

Its a beauty and should do well North of 100K.
I own one and the LS3 sends it over 100K Lets see

  • whatsittooya 2 monthsago

@hondafan ive actually seen a number of 6 figure defender builds transact on this platform, some of which after a high bid elsewhere.

  • 34NorthDefenders (seller) 2 monthsago

@Lwlambo253 I am assisting a good friend of mine with the sale of the vehicle. He's selling for personal reasons. Nothing to do with the car.

  • 34NorthDefenders (seller) 2 monthsago

@hondafan Thank you for the feedback. I have used both. I find there are more potential buyers on this platform for a build like this.

  • Lwlambo253 (registered bidder) 2 monthsago

Why are you selling it already?

Thank you very much for viewing this listing. This is a great opportunity to own an incredible build by ECD, without having to wait over a year. This car is absolutely incredible with the LS3 motor. It feels and drives like any modern vehicle.

I will do my best to answer any question as quickly as possible.
