Inspired by the legendary Shelby Cobra, the 1994 Excalibur Cobra Roadster merges classic design with modern performance. Powered by a 5.0-liter V8 paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential, this example is one of approximately 200 units produced over a 5-year run. Finished in red with white racing livery over a black interior, it features a wider body and longer frame than the original Cobra. Enhanced with aftermarket cooling components, an engine oil cooler, 17” ROTA wheels, and more, this engaging sports car is now being offered for auction out of Colorado.
The Excalibur Cobra Roadster’s fiberglass body resembles the iconic 1960s cobra, incorporating a prominent front grille, flared fenders, and side-mounted exhaust pipes. Compared to the original Shelby Cobra, the Excalibur version is 5.5” wider and features an elongated wheelbase by 4.5”. It comes finished in red bisected by white racing stripes and features additional race-inspired livery along with a black removable soft top. It rides on 17” ROTA wheels. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cockpit benefits from increased space due to the extended wheelbase and features a pair of leather-trimmed bucket seats with a Simpson Race Products Platinum-Series driver’s harness. Other equipment includes a tilting steering column, air conditioning, an aftermarket tachometer, an aftermarket shifter & boot, a Ford Racing shift knob, a roll hoop extension, a Sony head unit, a microphone for Bluetooth connectivity, and a dashboard-mounted smartphone holder.
Power is provided by a 5.0-liter V8 engine generating a factory-rated 215 HP and 258 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential. Performance equipment includes power steering, independent front suspension and a solid rear axle, and Wilwood Engineering front brake calipers. Modifications include aftermarket cooling components, an engine oil cooler, an aftermarket intake system, and MSD ignition components.
This sale includes a clean title, one set of keys, service records, spare parts, a fire extinguisher, and a DVD showcasing the car’s production process.

@1966GC everything works. The fan switch on the dash isn't hooked up because there are aftermarket cooling fans and separate switches.
Does everything work? Air and electronics?
thank you for the bids. I hope someone is able to get this special car.

@vo152 appreciate it. the stickers are vinyl static so they have no adhesive. Ive washed them off mistakenly a few times.

if anyone has any question please dont hesitate to ask.
to give a bit more information about this cobra. This is NOT a kit car. this is #45 out of 167 factory cars built from 1994-1996. Being a factory built car it meets all DOT and EPA standards. You can tell a huge different between this factory built car and a kit car.
@jetman That is what is was from the factory but i think its a bit light. The intake on this one opens it up a bit. if i had to guess the cobra is pushing 250 hp with the 5.0L 302. She runs strong and is fast with the 302. it only weight a bit over 2000lbs. has no trouble getting loose through all the gears.
Only 215 hp?
