On auction, is a 1993 Porsche 968 Coupe with 6-speed manual transmission. Ordered new from the factory in Cobalt Blue over Light Gray interior, this color combo is both uncommon and eye-catching. The original owner had the car in Nebraska and California during his 16 year ownership. The car eventually found its way to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where the current owner and seller acquired it in 2014. It is now being offered in very nice driver-grade condition with recent service records.
The exterior shows very well overall, with signs of use as is expected from a car of this age and mileage. The paint shines nicely and has no fading, cracking, or major flaws with the exception of the front bumper which was painted at some point. The car has had some paintwork throughout its life, but does remain very original. Paint meter readings are as follows:
Inside, the car is in amazing original condition for its age. The driver seat does have stress lines which is to be expected, however, it is completely intact and there are no rips or tears. The passenger seat is in excellent condition. Carpets are in very nice shape as well with no rips or heavy soiling.
The naturally-aspirated 3.0-liter inline-four cylinder produces 236 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque and is reported to be in excellent running condition. When acquiring the car, the seller did not receive any records, so he went ahead and completed the recommended timing belt service along with all fluids to bring the car to the level that it is now.
Currently, the car is wearing a set of 18” 996 Carrera-Style wheels with Bridgestone tires that have a healthy amount of tread left. The original wheels accompany the sale.
This 968 comes with both keys, recent records, and a clean Carfax.

@nosubC2de Thanks sir. Rims do look great.
@jwmbell the sound system was done previous to my possession. I must admit the sound quality is extremely well sorted out thanks to the alpine receiver, concealed subwoofer and other components. I don't believe the Alpine unit is bluetooth or XM.
On a different note, the wheels that are showing are 997 Carrera wheels and IMHO they looked fantastic on a 968, more so than on a 997 or any other Pcar iteration which is why I have left it on for this auction. I had purchased these wheels and tires combo for $2500 when I saw them on another 968 in Rennlist. New winning owner will also get the standard OEM wheels that to keep it's originality.

Do you by chance have the original blaupunkt stereo that came with it? Does the aftermarket radio have Bluetooth and XM? Thanks.

Hello all, thank you for your kind comments and your interest. I have been very fond of Pcars of all types since I can remember driving and 944 and variants always have a place in my heart. I looked nearly 3 years to find this particular 968 mostly because I was only interested in awell kept and loved coupe, 6 speed and most important of all a really sharp cool color. I have seen 1 a handful of Cobalt blue cabriolets and mostly tiptronics but never another coupe in this beautiful color combo. It has been extremely reliable and bullet proof as most 944 variants are. Timing belt was done when car arrived to me. Mostly all maintenance are done in house like all fluid changes, brake changes and minor simple items like broken glove hinges and power window buttons. The 968/964 steering wheel is a custom leather covered steering wheel wrapped in all leather done by previous owner and it is in very nice condition. I had the front bumper resprayed just last week because it had some of highway pitting. The car is tight as any 968 can be. We are just clearing up some cars that are getting lesser usage and this 968 was borderline where we want to be with it. We just did the timing belt since last one was done roughly 5 years ago and also wanted ourselves and potential buyer some peace of mind.
I have uploaded latest autocheck and receipt for timing belt and miscellaneous repairs to Pcars. I am certain they will uploaded soon enough. Please feel free to inquire further and would love to talk Pcars.
