This 1993 Porsche 964 Carrera 4 is one of only 520 Carrera Coupes produced for the U.S. during the model year and comes finished in Grand Prix White over Cashmere Beige and Black partial leather upholstery. It was acquired by the current owner from Road Scholars of North Carolina in 2018 and has since been customized with a ducktail spoiler, RS-style graphics, and custom Fuchs-style wheels. This Carrera 4 is now being offered for auction out of Florida showing approximately 111k miles on the odometer.
The exterior is finished in Grand Prix White with removable blue Carrera RS-style graphics, an aftermarket ducktail rear spoiler, and custom 18” Fuchs-style wheels with painted centers. The original rear decklid and electric spoiler will accompany the sale along with the factory 17” wheels. The car has been garage-kept throughout the current ownership and is said to remain in very good cosmetic condition, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report showing minor damage to the front/right sides in 2015.
The Cashmere Beige and Black partial leather interior has been customized with a three-spoke Momo Prototipo steering wheel and new Parrot Bluetooth radio. Factory features include cruise control, power windows, power mirrors, central locking, air conditioning, and an electric sunroof. The original radio and steering wheel are said to accompany the sale.
All four wheels are driven through a 5-speed G50 manual gearbox paired with an air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six engine producing up to 247 HP and 228 lb.-ft of torque. The engine is said to have been rebuilt under prior ownership within the last 5k miles and features a secondary muffler bypass for a more aggressive exhaust tone. The CARFAX report shows 29 additional service history records.
This sale will include a clean title.

I’ll be posting the cold start video and 3 min driving video as soon as I can get someone from PCAR to show me how. I can only upload photos myself

Also - video "cold start" where someone puts his hand on the muffler to prove it's not already hot engine.
Can you provide photos of
1.) the original 17" wheels that come with the sale

@bigordon the photographer must have left the door ajar. I’ll post a picture with the door closed and a video driving around.
Can you post a driving video? Also, is the door ajar in picture #2-3 or is something else going on?
@Billylane2021 I have too many cars unfortunately so I've run out of garage space. The car drives like a dream.
Pretty darn creative look.
Why are you selling?
Can you get the documentation from Road Scholars. They are one of the top collectors of Porsche in the world and provide the very best of restorations. If this is a Road Scholars vehicle then it is very important to have the records from them
@nvalverde927 , ok thanks.
@Tangerine997 sorry, yes it was the owners prior.
@nvalverde927 , when you say "they" are you referring to Road Scholars?
Just trying to get a handle on who did the rebuild prior to you purchasing the car in 2018.
Was it the owner prior to Road Scholars?
@Tangerine997 unfortunately they didn’t give me anything just told me after their inspection of the car. It was not done by them
@BlueDevils00 , now we have both asked the same question.
Let's see what he can produce.
Do you have the documentation from Road Scholars? Confirm that they did the engine rebuild. Nice looking car
@Tangerine997 the damage must have been very minor because the body is all original as far as I know and I have been told that the paint is consistent.
@Tangerine997 unfortunately I don't know the brand. I purchased the car with them. They're very nice though, in mint condition.
Any service records and documentation on the engine rebuild.
@nvalverde927 any good info on the damage back in 2015?
What was it exactly.
What brand are the 18" Fuchs? China or something good like Fiske.
Thanks.
Bid in the amount of $9,640
