This 1993 Porsche 964 Cabriolet has traveled just 42K miles since new and is finished in beautiful Grand Prix white with a contrasting navy blue interior. The current owner describes this car as an immaculate example with very little signs of wear. This cabriolet retains both its original 3.6L (M64) engine and 5-speed transaxle, which the owner states are in top running condition.
The vehicle features many original components, such as, wind deflector, original keys, books, tools, and maintenance records. Purchased by the seller in 2001 with 36,467 miles this vehicle has been driven sparingly, garaged, and has never seen salt during its time in the northeast with its third and current owner.
According to the Carfax, the vehicle was originally sold to its first owner in Texas. The vehicle is reported by the seller to have all original paint. The car was well cared for and received routine maintenance such as brake pads/rotors, consistent oil changes and tires. In 2008 with 41K miles the central Indicator was reported replaced. The seller states he is able to supply records dating back to 1997.
The photo set clearly shows this vehicle to be in excellent condition including the soft top which shows no visible signs of wear. Also pictured in the gallery is a small chip in the paint just behind the passenger door, and minor curb rash on one of the wheels. The seller states there have been no mechanical modifications to the vehicle. A Nokia Phone holder attached next to the center console is pictured in the gallery.
The Porsche 964 Generation is considered by many to be the best of all Air-Cooled Porsche models. The 964 elegantly blends traditional 911 design elements with a sporty yet comfortable ride quality. The dashboard retains many elements of the G-body cars while introducing new technologies such as dual airbags, ABS brakes and Power steering. Mounted in front of the more modern feeling shifter are controls for the power door locks and active aero spoiler. A good amount of mechanical advancements were also introduced with the 964, such as redesigned suspension components and the M64 Engine.

I was wondering the same thing... Thanks for clearing that up. Looks like a really honest car. glwa. Tempting!
@PORSCHEMAN we just heard back from the seller and he is actually the third owner. We apologize for the error and are updating the listing now. Thank you again for noticing.
@Porscheman The seller did state that he is the second owner in the submission. Sometimes Carfax can count a title change as a new owner by mistake. However, we will check with the seller to make sure that we did not make an error on our part. Thank you for pointing that out as we appreciate you helping us maintain accuracy.
The write up states the seller is the second owner, however, the attached Carfax states three previous owners. Please explain?

I'll be the first to comment here. This looks like a very nice example, great color and excellent photos. Unless I am missing something, it seems that someone is going to get a gorgeous cab. GLWTA
