This 1993 Land Rover Defender 110 underwent a frame-off custom restoration by ECD Automotive Design. Completed in 2022 and dubbed “Project Night Prowler,” this example is powered by a GM-sourced 6.2-liter LS3 V8 crate engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Refinished in Borealis Black over a Cadence Licorice leather interior with Avion Oat inserts, the build incorporates ECD air suspension, upgraded Alcon brakes, a custom sport exhaust, modernized cooling and drivetrain systems, a Kahn widebody kit, a 6-point external roll cage, 18” black Sawtooth wheels, a Kenwood Excelon touchscreen head unit, and much more. Driven just over 4k miles since completion, this meticulously restored Defender 110 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida.
As part of its comprehensive restoration, this example was repainted in Borealis Black with a mid-sheen satin finish. Exterior details include a Kahn widebody kit, X-Lander front grille, LED lighting, a 6-point external roll cage, black steering guard, diamond-plate accents, and a roof rack with ladder. It rides on black-finished 18” Sawtooth wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires bearing 2022 date codes, with a matching spare mounted to the rear carrier. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report dating back to March 2022.
The fully custom cabin is upholstered in black Cadence Licorice leather with tan Avion Oat inserts. Additional amenities include a Kenwood Excelon touchscreen head unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, JL Audio speakers, a wireless charging pad, USB ports, and a rear A/C unit.
Power comes from a GM-sourced 6.2-liter LS3 V8 crate engine, generating a factory-rated 430 HP and 424 lb-ft of torque. All four wheels are driven through a 6-speed automatic transmission. The chassis was rebuilt by ECD and upgraded with an air suspension system, high-performance Alcon brakes, and a sport-tuned exhaust system. The drivetrain, cooling system, and electronics were modernized as part of the comprehensive frame-off build.
