The successor to the Land Rover Series III, the Defender 110 carried over much of the bodywork and running gear from its predecessor while offering significant improvements including permanent four-wheel-drive, coil spring suspension, an updated cabin, and more. This example comes finished in matte grey and has undergone a host of customizations prior to being imported to the U.S. from Europe. Featuring a four-door pickup configuration, it is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California.
This Defender 110 comes finished matte grey and has been tastefully modified with a wide body kit, an upgraded silver-finished front grille, and LED headlights & taillights. Additional equipment includes a steel front bumper with mounted fog lamps, a winch, and a front skid plate. Side steps are also equipped along with a steel rear bumper, a rear tow hook, and rear mudflaps. It rides on a set of black-finished steel wheels with BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires. Slight paint imperfections are noted, additional images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin is upholstered in two-tone black and orange vinyl with diamond-stitched seat centers and matching door panels. Equipment includes a two-spoke steering wheel that frames fuel, temperature, and voltage gauges alongside a 120-mph speedometer, along with various dashboard-mounted switches, an aftermarket digital head unit, a sound system, roll-up windows, and door-mounted grab handles. The seller notes a stain on the driver’s side door panel which can be removed.
A Nissan-sourced diesel engine has been fitted, sending power to all four wheels by way of a 5-speed manual transmission with a dual-range transfer case, and a locking differential.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This is a great running & driving car for either weekend cruises or actual pick-up truck duties.”

@MMT got it. Read Nissan-sourced has been fitted and believed it to be second motor. I'm far from a Rover aficionado, but this one caught my eye. Looks like its moving in the right direction...

I know I'm a little late to the dance, but this Rover looks like a good time! Can you share any additional information about the Nissan motor? What's it from, how many miles, start/running video? Thank you and Good Luck!
I never tried but since it's already registered in the states should be easier, plus no smog!
Great looking 110. Do you know if it can be registered in CA? GLWA
