Next up for auction is this 1993 Land Rover Defender 110 finished in British Racing Green over a black sueded cloth interior. Originally used as a traffic enforcement vehicle in the Middle East, this Defender 110 was acquired by its first private owner in 2018 where it was subject to a nut and bolt bare metal restoration. New body panels were fitted and the body was repainted in British Racing Green, as well as a Kahn Design-style body kit, new wheels and tires, and a reupholstered interior. During the process, the V8 engine was removed and completely rebuilt, an air conditioning system was fitted and new suspension and steering components were installed. Now showing approximately 27,000 miles on the odometer, this Defender 110 is being offered at auction by the seller based out of New Jersey.
This Defender was completely stripped down to bare metal, the frame was sandblasted, and repainted in British Racing Green. During the restoration, new doors, a new hood, and new quarter panels were installed. A Kahn Design-style Wide Track body kit was fitted, which includes new widened fender flares in the front and rear. Additional equipment includes a steel front bumper with integrated LED fog lamps and a Defender-branded skid plate, a white roof with Alpine windows, powder-coated black tubular step bars, a full-size spare tire with cover, a Defender NAS-style rear bumper, and black Defender badging. The seller reports the exterior to be in excellent condition, detailed images are available in the photo gallery. This Defender wears black and machined finished aftermarket wheels that wear OEM Land Rover center caps and new BF Goodrich K02 all-terrain tires.
The interior of this Defender was completely reupholstered in black sueded cloth, including the front and rear seats, center console, and headliner. The seats feature diamond-stitched inserts that match the top of the center console. Driver’s amenities include air conditioning, a double din head unit with a backup camera, upgraded speakers, and a digital instrument cluster. The seller reports some minor wear to the dashboard and door sill plates.
This Defender 110 is powered by a 3.5L Rover V8, which produced 158 HP and 210 lb.-ft of torque when new. All four wheels are driven by a Land Rover R380 5-speed manual transmission and dual-range transfer case. During the restoration process, the Rover V8 was removed and completely rebuilt, and now uses an Edelbrock carburetor set up. New suspension and steering components were reportedly installed during that time.
This sale will include 2 keys and a clean title. This restored British Racing Green Defender 110 is ready for adventures with its next owner, do not miss your chance to get behind the wheel.
