Introduced in 1980, the Land Cruiser 60 Series upheld the rugged capabilities of its predecessors while incorporating modern driver-focused amenities. Finished in red over tan upholstery, this final-year FJ62 underwent a comprehensive frame-off restoration about two years ago. Powered by a rebuilt 4.0-liter inline-six paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case, it features manually locking front hubs, 15” steel wheels, air conditioning, power windows, and more. This meticulously restored Land Cruiser is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida with approximately 319k kilometers (~198k miles) showing on the odometer.
During its frame-off restoration, this example is said to have been refinished in its factory-specified shade of red, accented by tri-color side decals. It has chrome mirrors and door handles, polished bumpers, quad headlights, a rear window wiper, bright window surrounds, and a split tailgate. It rides on 15” Toyota wheels with black OEM hubcaps and new BFGoodrich K02 All-Terrain tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The interior features front bucket seats, a folding rear bench, and door panels trimmed in brown vinyl with tan striped upholstery. Amenities include air conditioning, power windows, power steering, and an aftermarket head unit. All gauges and accessories are reported to be in proper working order.
Power comes from an overhauled 4.0-liter 3F inline-six engine, which delivers a factory-rated 155 HP and 220 lb.-ft of torque to the rear or all four wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The front axle features manually locking hubs, while front disc brakes and rear drums facilitate braking. The seller notes that the engine oil and filter have been recently changed.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This FJ62 Land Cruiser is truly one of a kind—a collector’s dream. As the last model of the FJ62 produced worldwide, it already holds significant historical value. What sets this vehicle apart, however, is its rare 5-speed manual transmission, a feature almost impossible to find in this model. Fully restored to OEM specifications a few years ago. This is more than a Land Cruiser—it’s a piece of automotive history.”

Noticed the Venezuela plating. Was the restoration done there or in south Florida? Thank you.
