An homage to the limited-edition, driver-focused 356 America Roadster of the 1950s, the Porsche 911 America Roadster was offered in an exclusive production run of 250 examples between 1992 and 1993. The car is based on a 964 Carrera 2 Cabriolet and features the wider bodywork of the contemporary 911 Turbo, along with its uprated brakes and suspension. This 1992 example is finished in Grand Prix White over a Light Grey partial leather interior and equipped with a 5-speed G50 manual transaxle, an optional limited-slip differential, supple leather seats, a leather shift knob and brake handle, a leather-covered gearbox tunnel, cruise control, a full power-operated driver’s seat, and velour carpeting. Originally sold in Illinois and imported to Germany by the current owner in 2019, this rare and highly sought-after 964 America Roadster is now being offered for auction with less than 50k miles showing on the odometer.
The America Roadster is characterized by its 911 Turbo-derived bodyshell, including wider fenders, rockers, and bumpers. This example is finished in Grand Prix White with a black power-operated convertible top and a matching boot cover. Equipment includes headlamp washers, integrated fog lights, aero mirrors, a speed-activated rear spoiler, a rear “Roadster” script model designation, and Turbo-spec 17” Cup wheels. The seller notes that new tires have been installed and the paint remains in excellent original condition. Detailed images and paint meter readings are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Appointed with Light Grey partial leather upholstery and matching carpets, the cabin features a rear parcel shelf with storage compartments in place of conventional rear seats. Other accessories include an optional fully power-adjustable driver’s seat, optional supple leather seat upholstery, white instrument dials, an optional leather shift knob and brake handle, a leather-covered transmission tunnel, velour carpeting, automatic climate control, cruise control, a central locking system, and an updated Blaupunkt Bluetooth radio. The seller states the odometer reads 49,663 miles; however, a white gauge face with kilometer lettering was fitted for aesthetic purposes.
The air-cooled 3.6-liter M64 flat-six engine was factory-rated at 247 HP and 228 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 5-speed G50 manual transaxle and an optional limited-slip differential. The 911 America Roadster shares its uprated suspension and larger cross-drilled brakes with the 911 Turbo. The seller indicates that the car is in excellent mechanical order, with no outstanding maintenance items. A collection of service records is included in the sale.
This sale will include a window sticker, owner’s manuals, service records, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “The Porsche 964 Carrera 2 America Roadster is a real collector's item! Only around 250 units of this exclusive model were produced, and very few of them in the dream color Grand Prix White 908 with light grey leather, which makes this vehicle a rare and sought-after model.”

The car presents absolutely beautifully – a superb example of an American roadster.
If I had the funds available, I wouldn’t think twice.
This is the kind of opportunity that doesn't come around often. I’ll admit, I’m already envious of the future owner – they’re going to be very lucky to add this to their collection. GLWA
Bid in the amount of $55,000
@TheGerman Indeed, the car has 49,663 miles.
@NWIC (seller)
This means the car has right now 49,663 miles???
Right nor not??
@Gordoh please see my answer on top . Thank you !
Dear Bidders,
We would like to clarify the following point. The internal mechanism of the odometers remains unchanged; only the display has been modified. Originally, the vehicle was fitted with black-faced odometers marked in miles. These have since been replaced with white-faced odometers displaying kilometers.
Thank you for your attention.
Bid in the amount of $50,250
Further, any New Carfax will likely label this as a Possible Odometer Roll back due to the Undocumented odometer change out... Just a bit of warning
Hi - the Mileage issue is a Major problem!!!! First of all your still Advertising it as a "31K Mile car" which is a clear a probable Fraudulent Misrepresentation!!! and its not until you read the notes that you Now state the Mileage is 49K car (New bidders please be aware) ...... Further, Once you change out an Odometer to Kilometres and then Tracks in Kilometres not miles as you state????

Hello to all bidders,
You're looking at an incredibly rare opportunity to own a true Porsche classic — the 1992 America Roadster. With its low production numbers, iconic widebody styling, and timeless air-cooled performance, this car represents both an exciting drive and a solid investment. The collectibility and long-term upside here cannot be overstated.
Best of luck to everyone!
Bid in the amount of $41,000
@Cgt000 The payment will be made directly to the owner's account.
@rahlstrom Yes, the original speedometer is currently in the owner's workshop. It can either be changed prior to shipping or included with the car as is, depending on buyer preference.
Seems low on bidding at moment compared to the one last week on the other site that just about touched 100k. I have been waiting to list my midnight blue AMR soon, it has an all new gray interior and has a fresh clutch just done at Weekend Rides in Pa , if this one gets into that range look for it here. Glws
Hello. Who gets paid in this transaction? Dealer or the individual owner?
Bid in the amount of $40,000
Bid in the amount of $30,750
Do you have all of the original gauge faces?
Bid in the amount of $30,000
@pbaron88 Yes, only the speedometer has been changed
Is it just the face on the speedometer that needs to be changed? ( this would make sense why it is still in miles) is that all that was converted? thank youi..
Bid in the amount of $25,250

Dear buyers , just to clarify the mileage / kilometres misunderstanding:
When the car was imported to Germany, the original black speedometer was replaced with a white German unit. The speedometer continues to operate in miles so the 49663 current reading reflects the vehicle’s original mileage.
The mileage can be easily verified, and the speedometer can be converted back to the original black unit if desired.
@cobalt The current reading reflects the actual mileage of the car. After the conversion, the speedometer continues to display in miles. The current reading of 49,663 represents the vehicle’s original mileage.
Bid in the amount of $10,000
40,076 miles recorded in 2018. I know this car from Paul Miller so is the actual miles 70,935 or do you have the original speedometer to show actual miles?
