Up for auction is this 1992 Porsche 964 Carrera 4 Coupe finished in Black over a black interior with heated and power-adjustable Sport Seats. Equipped with a 3.6L flat-six engine sending power to all four wheels through a 5-speed G50 manual gearbox, this 1992 example has also been upgraded with a new adjustable coilover suspension, FVD muffler bypass, and a modern Porsche Classic radio. Showing approximately 98k kilometers (60k miles) on the odometer, this Carrera 4 is being offered for auction by its seller out of Ontario accompanied by maintenance records, owner's manuals, and the original stamped service book.
This 964 comes finished in Black (L700) and rides on factory 17” Cup wheels dressed in new Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires. Equipment includes late-model Aero Design mirrors, an optional rear window wiper, and headlight washers integrated into the front bumper. CARFAX shows damage to have occurred to the left-rear end in 2018 and the seller reports the entire car was subsequently refinished, including repairs made to the rear driver-side quarter panel. A few minor imperfections are noted throughout the exterior, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with paint meter readings and a full CARFAX report.
The cabin is described to be in very good, highly original condition and features optional Sport Seats as well as an upgraded Porsche Classic radio. Some wear is present on the shift knob and steering wheel. Records show the front hood struts to have been replaced along with the driver seat switches, battery, and HVAC blend door motor in October of 2021. The factory specifications label on the underside of the hood lists the following equipment:
This 964 is equipped with an air-cooled 3.6L flat-six engine rated at 247 HP and 228 lb.-ft of torque. All four wheels are driven by way of a G50 5-speed manual gearbox. A new Godspeed coilover adjustable suspension was installed by Pfaff Tuning in October of 2021 along with an FVD side muffler bypass pipe. Service carried out during this time also included electrical diagnostics, a safety inspection, and overhaul of the brakes with new lines, pads, rotors, and refinished calipers. Corresponding invoices are provided in the gallery along with records showing routine maintenance throughout the years.
This sale will include maintenance records, the original owner's manuals, stamped service book, a toolkit, air pump, spare tire, and a clean title. The CARFAX report shows a mileage inconsistency which is believed to have resulted from a clerical error.

If you're a Canadian Bidder, all good, you'll pay your fee the auction house and we'll proceed with the deal in converted from USD to CAD Funds. I can help arrange shipping anywhere and assist with short term storage. However payment will have to happen within the timelines of the auction rules.
If you're bidding from the US, please note this car is now over 25 years old and imports into the US without any modification or changes to the cars current state. As displayed in Picture #92 this vehicle conforms with all US EPA and California Emissions Standards for the 1992 MY. Also consider that 2.5% of the selling price will apply as duty, plus roughly $500 in US border fee/brokerage and shipping. I can assist with every aspect of this.

Hello All, I have added a cold start video as well as a 964.2 refresher video
@Hotsauce unfortunately I don’t have a full inspection report as I feel all the money spent on the car for brakes, tires, suspension as well as all visuals I have provided should give a sound understanding of the cars level.
I didn’t perform a compression and leakdown test as these engines don’t usually suffer from any kind of combustion leakage, especially not at this low of mileage. More importantly is if it’s leaking which can see this engine is been dry.
I’ll try and get a video up of a cold start before auction end. Likely Monday
Hello,
1. Are there any porsche inspection report available?
2. Any engine compression - leak down test performed?
3. If possible a video of cold and warm start showing the exhaust would be helpful.
Thank you.

@td_05 will do in morning but the car is 100% rust free even around the windshield cowl
Any known rust? Would you please post 2-3 more close ups of base of windshield?
@Carguy2003 absolutely. I would ask you to come by Saturday as the auction ends on Monday.
Is it possible to arrange viewing?
I am from Ottawa and would come down to Toronto possibly over the weekend of next week.
@batasrki I work at a dealership where the car is stored for the winter and managing the auction from here. The car is privately owned by my brother. This car will be sold to the winner by him. I’m the car dealer in the family and his younger brother so I do as told lol.
Hey there, nice car! The sale is marked as private owner, but the postal code resolves to the car dealership park. Is there a reason for that? Is the car at the dealership or was this just for the purposes of the auction?
Hello All, just another update. The Spoiler system has been corrected, a faulty microswitch the culprit and I have adjusted the sunroof pics will be added to the auction!
Thanks!
Thanks for the quick response. This one lights the lamp.
@jh986s I don’t have a record of a clutch replacement, but it behaves and holds perfectly. Also, 60k miles on an original clutch, I think she has plenty of good left.
The owner in between my brother and original was sick, car sat, as you can see only about 7000km since 2018. Not uncommon and today she goes to sleep well locked so no issues there. As you can see on the carfax my bro has owned it since June. The second owner has now passed.
As for the accident, as it goes through insurance you can imagine the advantages. Paint the whole car, maybe some new seals, repair the quarter, but charge for a whole new one. Hard to say.
Watch the 4 videos attached. Any body guy can look at that and tell you with conviction it was a minor hit. I just think the previous owner and Bodyshop had at it. But that is my opinion and based on the info I have supplier. If you need me to look at something more closely. Just ask and I will.
No clutch replacement ever? 3 batteries since 2018 did you find the root cause of the problem? Do you know what service has been done to the engine in its life? How long did your brother own the car and do you know who owned it before him? $24k in repairs for an accident, that had to be substantial damage, and does your brother know?
