Up for auction is this rare 1992 Porsche 964 Turbo presented in Polar Silver Metallic over a black leather interior. Representing one of only 289 U.S. spec Turbos imported for the model year, this 1992 example remains in outstanding condition. Having undergone a recent engine-out service and clutch replacement, this well-documented 964 shows approximately 51k miles on the odometer and is ready to be enjoyed by its next owner.
The lesser-seen Polar Silver Metallic finish on this Turbo is shown to be in impeccable shape. The seller indicates that the driver’s side door has been refinished in order to correct some minor blemishes; detailed images are provided in the photo gallery. In typical Turbo fashion, this 964 showcases widened rear fenders as well as a distinctive rear spoiler. This Turbo rides on a set of professionally refinished factory 5-spoke wheels which come dressed in brand new Continental Extreme Contact tires.
The black leather interior remains in excellent condition as can be seen in the provided images. The seller notes some typical shrinkage near the rear parcel shelf. Noteworthy features include factory electric seat height adjustment, an electric sliding sunroof and an upgraded Kenwood stereo unit with Blaupunkt speakers. The C of A notes factory sport seats, however, it appears that at some point they were replaced with a set of OEM 993 seats that remain in excellent condition. The A/C is operational and all gauges, electrical components and accessories are reported to be fully functional.
Power comes from an air-cooled 3.3L turbocharged flat-six engine derived from venerable Porsche 930. Approximately 315 HP and 332 lb-ft of torque is sent to the rear wheels by way of numbers-matching G50 5-speed manual transmission with limited slip differential making for an originally cited 0-60 time of 4.8 seconds. Records indicate that a comprehensive engine-out service was carried out in 2018 along with a clutch replacement. The seller confirms that a standard service was completed in February of 2020 which included an oil change and the installation of four new tires. Reported to be up to date on all scheduled maintenance, this 964 is being offered in excellent driving condition.
The sale of this Turbo will include two keys, original books and accessories, a clear title, a binder full of service records dating back to 2000 and a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. Do not miss this incredible opportunity to get behind the wheel of a beautifully-preserved and tastefully appointed Porsche 964 Turbo.

@ianbsears Yes, you are correct. There are the few scratches on the front bumper on the driver side in picture 20 towards the wheel well and a few chips on the front and passenger side of the bumper. There is also the light scratch under the passenger front turn signal that you can see in picture 27, other than that there are no other noticeable marks. No rust at all in the areas you mention or anywhere else on the car. Hope that helps.
Seller - would you please confirm that chips and scratches look isolated to the front bumper passenger side? I’m pretty sure that’s all I saw. Additionally pls confirm that there is no sign of rust where the bumpers - front and rear meet the body panels nor at the lower corners of the front or rear windows.
thanks
