This 1992 Land Rover Defender 110 is the subject of a full custom restoration completed by Arkonik in 2020. Finished in China Grey over black Nappa leather upholstery with yellow stitching, this Defender is powered by a replacement 3.5-liter V8 engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. It features a dual range transfer case, a locking center differential, a Warn front winch, a Puma hood, rock sliders, a Front Runner roof rack, tubular bumpers, LED lighting, microsuede headliner, a MOMO steering wheel, air conditioning, a custom Bluetooth sound system, and 16″ Tweaked Spectre Edition wheels. This professionally restored and modified Defender 110 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida.

The exterior was refurbished with several new body panels and completely refinished in China Grey during the build by Arkonik. It features a Puma hood, a KBX grille, a tubular front bumper, a Warn front winch, LED lights, mud flaps, rock sliders, a Front Runner roof rack, alpine windows, and a tubular rear bumper with a hitch receiver. The truck rides on black 16″ Tweaked Spectre Edition beadlock-style wheels with BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 tires sized 285/75 all around. A matching full-size spare wheel is mounted on the swing-away rear carrier.

The cabin has been redone with black Nappa leather upholstery complemented by yellow stitching and a matching microsuede headliner. It features first and second-row bucket seats, inward facing rear jump seats, a three-spoke MOMO steering wheel, a locking center storage console, front cup holders, black alloy shift knobs, an under-dashboard air conditioning unit, JBL speakers, and a touchscreen Pioneer Bluetooth head unit. The seller states the mileage shown on the replacement odometer reflects the distance traveled since the restoration was completed.

Power comes from a replacement 3.5-liter V8 engine that was installed by Arkonik. It drives all four wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission with a dual-range transfer case and a locking center differential. The seller notes that all necessary service items were addressed upon their acquisition from the previous owner.

This sale will include a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: "We took this Arkonik as a trade-in against one of our new builds.  We highly regard Arkonik vehicles, and this truck is an excellent example for those seeking a near-factory condition classic.  The 3.5 V8 engine has performed flawlessly since its arrival, and the paint and upholstery are in exceptional condition."

@wonk We do have the full inspection report as well as a list of completed maintenance items available. Unfortunately, I don’t currently have access to update the listing or upload additional photos, but all the information is readily available for any interested buyer. I’d be happy to email the documents to you if you’d like to take a look!

I guess that would be the response of a mechanic selling a car for a client. However you guys are a dealer and selling a once six figure truck so it just seemed incongruent and easy to do. Do you have a list of that work that was completed ? it’s mentioned in the ad, but there’s no paperwork or thorough description of what’s been gone through.

@wonk thank you for your feedback. This vehicle was received as a trade-in and is being sold as-is. Therefore, we've focused on resolving all maintenance and safety concerns, rather than the minor cosmetic imperfections.

Was cleaning or replacing the rusty chrome air cleaner lid too much at $14?
