The Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione or “Evo 1” was introduced at the end of the marque’s successful 1991 World Rally Championship season featuring a more powerful engine, revised suspension, larger brakes, and improved aerodynamic bodywork. It went on to be fielded by factory-backed privateer teams who won Lancia its sixth and final consecutive Constructor's World Rally Championship in 1992, making it the last of Lancia’s homologation models that were developed into rally cars. This 1992 example comes finished in Rosso Monza over a grey Alcantara interior and was originally delivered in Japan before being imported to the U.S. in 2021. It features upgraded Bilstein shocks and Powerflex suspension bushings and was reportedly serviced with a new timing belt and water pump in 2020. An iconic hot hatchback and a rally racing legend, this Lancia Delta Integrale Evo 1 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Texas while showing just over 41k kilometers (approximately 25,500 miles) on the odometer.
The Evoluzione model was fitted with boxed fender flare extensions to accommodate a wide front and rear track than earlier Delta Integrales. Its bodywork was also distinguished by a prominent hood bulge with lateral air slats, reshaped rear doors, boxed side skirts, unique bumpers, and an adjustable 3-position spoiler mounted atop the rear hatch. The car also featured smaller round headlamps, yellow HF badges, and windshield wiper arms with integrated spoilers. This example comes finished in Rosso Monza and rides on factory Evo-specific 15” Speedline Montecarlo alloy wheels. New Continental ExtremeContact tires were reportedly mounted during the summer of 2022. The seller states all glass is original and the car is free of rust. The rear hatch and driver’s front door were previously refinished and cracks are noted on the right rear bumper and on one of the rocker panels. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin is trimmed in grey Alcantara upholstery with perforated seat centers and door panel inserts. Equipment includes adjustable Recaro anatomic sports seats, a leather-wrapped three-spoke MOMO steering wheel, Veglia Borletti instrument dials with yellow markings, a turbo boost pressure gauge, air conditioning, power front windows, a locking glovebox, Integrale-branded floor mats, and an aftermarket Pioneer Carrozzeria head unit paired with Alpine door speakers. The seller describes the interior to be in very good shape, although the headliner is sagging slightly, and the air conditioning system needs to be recharged.
A transverse-mounted turbocharged and intercooled 2.0-liter DOHC inline-four engine sends up to 207 HP and 224 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission and a Torsen limited-slip rear differential. Compared to earlier Lancia Delta Integrale models, the Evoluzione features a reinforced steering rack and power steering fluid cooler, a reinforced suspension with raised strut towers, and vacuum assisted disc brakes with larger-diameter rotors and fixed 2-piston Brembo calipers in the front. This example also features upgraded Powerflex suspension bushings and Bilstein shocks that were reportedly installed in September 2020 along with a new water pump and timing belt. More recent service in July 2022 included a new battery, wheel alignment, and an oil change. The seller indicates the O2 sensors were disconnected under prior ownership and the coolant temperature warning light appears intermittently, although the coolant sensor and reservoir cap have been replaced.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a spare tire, Japanese service records, and a clean Montana title.
The seller would like you to know: “This is an amazing low mile car with no rust! It drives like it should and is as amazing as you hope and dream about. Tires, alignment, oil change, and battery were done last summer. I have had 700 km of trouble-free driving.”

@MWCRLN I will try to get paint meter readings Monday. I will call a shop and see if I can get the compression test done before the end of the auction. I dont think this will be an issue. If you are concerned I strongly suggest you get a PPI. The car run great and shows amazing.

Thank you for that.
Are you able to paint meter the entire car, middle of each panel please and possibly gage the psi on all 4 cylinders...

@MWCRLN I dont believe it is a full respray. Just the center part of the doors and rear hatch, which is very common for these cars. Clear coat was not great in the 90s. The car shows great! Paint looks wonderful. I do not see any evidence of an accident. I will get pictures of the QP welds in the morning. Yes original steering wheel. I have not done a compression test. I have a Evo capable shop if you would like a PPI done. Aftermarket is the head unit, door speakers, and the wonderful Bilstein struts. Most if not all of the bushings have been replaced, that is key to keeping these cars handling. You are welcome to come check the car out.
@seller:
Is it a full re-spray, if so how is the quality?
Has it been in an accident?
Can you take pictures of the QP welds on both sides when opening the rear hatch?
Original steering wheel?
Have you done a compression test?
Anything aftermarket??
Thank you!
