Delivered new in Germany, this European-spec Porsche 964 Turbo has been recently refinished in its original Black Metallic color and features a rare Carrara Grey and Black Special Leather interior. The car showcases a rebuilt engine by Sportec AG of Höri, Switzerland with upgraded camshafts, Rennline mounts, a full Fabspeed exhaust system, a sport clutch, and a single-mass flywheel. The car has also been fitted with 18” Speedline wheels, an RS short shift kit, new Ohlins coilovers, red powder-coated brakes, and a Porsche Classic (PCCM) head unit. Accompanied by nearly two decades’ worth of service records, this 964 Turbo is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Canada showing approximately 178k kilometers (110k miles) on the odometer.
In comparison to a 964 Carrera, the Turbo model features wider fender and bumpers, dual-exhaust outlets, aero mirrors, and a Tea Tray rear spoiler. This example recently underwent a complete glass-out respray in its factory color of Black Metallic followed by a full-exterior application of paint protection film and ceramic coating. RS front fog light inserts have been installed, the brakes have been rebuilt and powder-coated red, and a set of genuine 18” Speedline wheels has been installed and mounted with new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. A chrome Turbo 3.6-style rear model designation has been installed as well. Other equipment includes European-spec side marker lights, headlamp washers, and a rear window wiper. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
Inside, this Turbo features a Carrara Grey and Black Special Leather interior with electrically height-adjustable Sport Seats. Accessories include aftermarket aluminum pedal covers, stainless-steel Turbo script door sills, black carpet floor mats, a four-spoke leather steering wheel, automatic climate control, cruise control, a Porsche Classic Communication Management (PCCM) head unit, and aftermarket silver deco pieces for the window switches, door handles, ignition lock, door lock pins, dashboard trim strip, and parking brake button.
In 2017 at 160k kilometers, the turbocharged and intercooled 3.3-liter flat-six engine was rebuilt by Sportec AG in Switzerland including the installation of upgraded camshafts, Rennline engine and transmission mounts, a sport clutch, a single-mass flywheel, and a full Fabspeed exhaust system with headers, An RS short shift kit was also installed along with new Ohlins coilovers and top mounts. Power is sent to the rear wheels by way of a 5-speed G50 manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The oil lines were replaced in 2020 and recent service includes a new battery and an air conditioning system refill.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, some documentation, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Happy bidding! An incredible, restored example of the 964 Turbo with an engine built by Sportec, this is the pinnacle of the 964 Turbo experience. Bid with confidence, we can help with any shipping-related questions and guide you through the process if required!”

Today is the day! We will be here to answer any last minute questions. Please send all questions as soon as possible and before the auction ends, as it can get a little hard to get to in the last minutes of the auction. This is an excellent opportunity to own a wonderful example of the 964 Turbo. With thousands spent on parts, paint, wheels, etc, as well as a motor built by Sportec, this is a spectacular car. Happy bidding, we are very excited!
@ODK This is all quite accurate. Duties are at 2.5% of sale price, plus shipping and customs. As we said before, all in it would be mid to high four figures depending on the car and destination. We will go over everything with the buyer in great detail. Thank you all!
Bid in the amount of $115,000
@twinvipers...figure the cost to be 2.8% of sale price plus about 3K for customs and shipping. I have bought two cars on BAT from the Toronto area and my shipping was a bit more to LA...I basically took about 1K off for distance.
North Carolina
@twinvipers Low four figures. As an example, we recently shipped out a car to Atlanta from Toronto for $1800 CAD all in. Hope this helps, it is very dependent on the state you are shipping to.
Whats an estimate to ship to the USA?
Welcome to the last 24 hours of the auction! We are excited for this to go to a good home. All paint meter readings have now been uploaded, please let us know if you require anything else. Thank you!

Beautiful 964. What a dyno chart, this thing must move !
I would be curious to see it against my 3.6 … I think this one might have the edge.
GLWTA !
Bid in the amount of $52,964
@Tartan43 We understand, no worries at all. Paint meter readings will be uploaded tomorrow. Let us know if you need anything else! Thank you.
Thanks @autosportclassic. I expect measurements 8-9mil thicker than typical respray. I'm mainly looking for consistency across panels. For reference you could measure a door jamb, but again the key is consistency, not the absolute number.
@Tartan43 We can provide readings no problem. The only issue is that the car is PPFed, and therefore unfortunately it wouldn’t give an accurate reading.
Beautiful 964 Turbo! Can you provide paint meter readings for all panels?

@brduke 2 owners in Switzerland, 1 in Canada. Never been driven in winter in either country, this car has zero rust. Please see the photo of the front trunk with the spare tire removed, it is absolutely corrosion free there as well. Thank you!
Apologize if I missed this, how many owners has the car had?
Has it been driven in the winter (snow)?
Bid in the amount of $7,500
Thank you for the quick response !
@Germanyjoe it is the windshield washer light, has been topped up! Please see the walk around video, there is a start up video included which was taken a few days after the driving video. You can see that there are no warning lights on. Thank you.
Hi,
in the driving video is a permanent warn signal in the left gauge.

@Grkmf3 Apologies! There is an edited version of the photos that are clear to see, we had a mistake in the upload. Rest assured, will be changed soon. Thanks!

@Johnny1 please send us a Direct Message, we will be more than happy to arrange a viewing. Thank you!
Hi everyone, PDF's of the build have now been uploaded. Let us know if you have any other questions!
Is it possible to see the vehicle at your offices in Markham?
Bid in the amount of $5,250
@TheGerman I will have the invoices uploaded soon! Photos of the build from Sportec have now been uploaded.
Regarding the AC, yes it was upgraded to R134a. Let me know if there are any other questions!
@autosportclassic (seller)
- Can you please post the complete invoice for the engine rebuild in Switzerland so we can see the parts replaced and labor costs?
