We are pleased to present this 1991 Porsche 964 Carrera 4 Coupe finished in Black over a Classic Grey partial leather interior. A major evolutionary leap for the Porsche 911, the 964 generation debuted a new 3.6-liter flat-six engine, revised suspension, and improved aerodynamics along with the option of an all-wheel-drive model. This Carrera 4 is said to have remained under meticulous care and benefits from a recent engine rebuild from an authorized Porsche dealer. Showing just over 76k miles on the odometer, this 964 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Connecticut.
This Coupe is finished in Black and rides on 16” Porsche 993 wheels paired with colored Porsche crest center caps and new Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The seller adds that a set of Italian-made 17” Cup-style wheels will be included in the sale as well. Detailed images are provided in the photo gallery. Compared to its predecessor, the 964 generation features a greatly improved aerodynamic design along with a new automatic electric rear spoiler to provide additional downforce and cooling for the engine compartment. The exterior is described to have been very well maintained throughout the years and the seller reports the rear decklid to have been previously refinished along with minor touch-ups throughout the body. Some minor imperfections are also noted on the rear bumper, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Classic Grey partial leather interior includes factory power accessories, an aftermarket center console compartment, and an upgraded Alpine stereo head unit. Some wear is noted on the shifter and driver's seat bolster and the seller confirms all gauges and accessories remain fully functional.
Up to 247 HP is derived from an air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six engine and sent to all four wheels through a 5-speed G50 manual transaxle. An engine rebuild was completed by Harmony Motors Porsche at 74,866 miles along with the replacement of the clutch and reseal of the transmission.
This sale will include a clean title.

Such a beautiful example and great color combo. SO clean inside/out. Tempted to throw in but it will probably soar past my limit in the next 2hrs. GLWTA!
@Analog_911 I won't be able to upload photos of the back of the extra included wheels until after the auction is over so please subtract your bid amount the perceived value of the wheels. Best solution I have at the moment.
Thank you
@TurboSupraGuy - Thanks for the quick reply, but I didn't see any new photos showing the "backside" of the Cup wheels, perhaps the new photos haven't been uploaded yet.
I'm no expert, so I'm not sure if "Made in Italy" should have any value to me, since replica Cup wheels might also be made in Italy. Though I hold nothing against replica wheels, I'd certainly recognize that OEM wheels are significantly more valuable to many.
Finally, I can't be sure that your Cup wheels are 17" or not, since other wheels are often offered in several sizes, especially replica wheels. And some of the replica Cups look exactly like OEM Cups, so I'll have to ask again for more details, or just let me know when the newly uploaded photos can be viewed.

Good luck today in the final hours of bidding. I've sent out a few shipping quotes to interested buyers. Any questions please message me or comment. This car is really an absolute beauty. To give buyers some background to me regarding my sale ethic, I've had a flawless ebay seller history for nearly 20 years under the same moniker as well as admin on an 80k member supra centric message forum. Not that it makes it a better car but to show I'm not a ghost either.
Thank you pcar as well.
Bid in the amount of $50,250
@Analog_911 On the back they are stamped made in Italy, I believe those specs sound correct. No problem asking better late then never. Im not sure what photo you're referencing however there's no rust on this car. Really clean body and underside.
Thanks
@eric123406109 in the 2000 miles or so since rebuild there has been only oil changes. Recently however in the last couple months oil and filter was changed, new air cleaner, tires etc.
Thanks
Bid in the amount of $50,000
What are the spec's on the Cup-1's? Manufacturer? 17x7 and 17x8? Offset 55 and 52 respectively?
Photo's show small areas of discoloration that looks like rust. Is there any indication of rust any where on the body?
Sorry to so asking so late in the game.
Can you provide pictures of the services performed - particularly over the last 8 years following rebuild?
@Nikojo the windows and roof operate perfectly but I will try to get a video of that.
@Nikojo the vehicle was purchased earlier this year I did clarify that below.
Can you post video of how well windows go up and down as well as sunroof??
Seller please clarify when you purchased this vehicle? Was it 10 years ago? What was change to CT, just registration??

@Calicarguy I am not familiar with the term zinc drips. No body panels were replaced on this car and if it was painted its an amazingly high quality job. I'm not a paint expert but I know the difference between a good one and bad one. Rarely have I seen a 964 without some kind of paint work these days. No tape lines or sanding marks, no orange peel, no drips or issues to be honest.
Thank you for your comment.
Can we see a photo of the zinc drips located on both front fender lips just above the tires. Since the paint meter numbers show a re-paint I’m concerned the panels were replaced.
Thanks
Bid in the amount of $38,000
@Loep964 correct car was purchased and registered here in CT within the past year. Sorry for missing that.
Carfax would indicate current seller acquired the car recently (within last year). Owner before that had in NC for a number of years. Not sure that current seller has had it for 10 years @LRCarreraTPA.
@TurboSupraGuy You’re welcome!
I’m running, and I mean running, a ‘96 993 C4 and 997.1 GT3. Former weekly, latter monthly. This includes alternating rallies at Tail of the Dragon, twice yearly….
@LRCarreraTPA it's wild how many owners some of these cars have. Thank you and I assure you crusing and living with this car is a much more mutually beneficial experience. This generation 911 is honestly fantastic it makes so much sense why people love owning them and have such a passionate following.
@TurboSupraGuy At least you have had this car for 10yrs?. There’s a 991.1 RS on now that has had 7 owners and 2k miles. Can you say dry seals?….. That car is a straight commodity and just drives up prices for this of us that actually drive them…GLWTA and make sure to take her for a spin before she goes to another caretaker…!
Videos are up.
Just to add I have a great shipper I use and can provide quotes to any potential buyers.
Startup, walk-around, and driving video sent to pcar to be added
@Silver930 thanks I tend to agree it accents the car well. Glad my photos are conveying how clean this car is. I've seen many of these cars and this is a beauty in person.
That interior is very nice I Prefer that over the standard black any day.
@jh986s I emailed pcar a paint meter video so hopefully added soon. I am going to film coldstart and driving videos today after work.
Thanks for your quick responses, I’m looking forward to seeing the videos.
@jh986s working on paint meter reading video, this car has never been tracked and no need to do compression and leakdown since 2k miles since rebuild. That was all confirmed good at that time.
Thank you
Any chance of paint meter readings , compression /leak down numbers? Was this tracked at all since rebuild?
@jh986s I'm working on startup video to add to the listing.
Why so little mileage? Other cars to drive things change in life circumstances etc, no nefarious reasons. I personally have cars I have driven less then 1k miles in 10 years so 2500 in 7 puts in perspective.
The rebuild was from May of 2015 @ 74k miles and currently has 76k miles. So 2k miles in 7.5 years, why so little usage? Do you have any videos of start-up, driving etc?
@RumbleAuto thank you sir. Much appreciated!
That's a wonderful example of 964, and I want to wish you all the best!
Any questions please ask, this is a really nice example 964 that's fully sorted and ready to be enjoyed day one.
Thank you
@woodcrestjoe The air conditioning indeed works. This vehicle was just fully serviced, new oem filters, oil, etc.
Thank you.
