Up for auction is this 1991 Porsche 964 Carrera 2 automatic finished in white over a black interior. Considered as being 85% newer than its predecessor, the 964-generation debuted major changes for the Porsche 911 including revised aerodynamics, power steering, modern climate control system and a significantly improved suspension system. This 1991 example received a full engine overhaul in 2019 at a cost of over $16k. Stated to have been properly maintained and always garaged under the care of its second owner since 2001, this 964 is reported to be in very nice overall condition showing approximately 104k miles on the odometer.
The timeless white finish on this 964 is said to be in great overall condition for its age (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery). The seller indicates that the right front fender and headlight were replaced following some minor cosmetic damage in 2019. Aerodynamic improvements on the 964 include revised body components, a completely flat undertray and a speed activated rear spoiler. This 1991 example rides on factory D90 wheels which come dressed in new Michelin Pilot Sport tires.
The black interior is said to be in great shape with all gauges and accessories working properly. An aftermarket Kenwood radio has been installed in this otherwise stock cabin. Factory options include power seats, power windows and air conditioning.
This 964 carries its original air-cooled 3.6 L flat-six engine which is mated to a number’s matching 4-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission. 247 HP is delivered to the rear wheels making for a 0-60 time of approximately 6 seconds and a top speed of 159 MPH. The 964 generation debuted a thoroughly upgraded suspension system, standard-equipped ABS brakes and a power steering system which made the Carrera even more nimble. In 2019, this 964 was treated to a full engine overhaul at a cost of over $16k. Proper maintenance has been recorded throughout the lifetime of the car and this Carrera 2 is said to remain in beautiful driving condition.
The sale of this 964 will include the original books and tools, a set of 3 keys and a comprehensive collection of service records. This 2-owner 1991 example offers the perfect opportunity for any air-cooled Porsche enthusiast in search of a 964.

There appears to be a considerable amount of Road Rash and Blemishes in the the paint work. Can you please post several close up photos of these ares on PCAR? Is there documentation on the engine rebuild in 2019? Can you also post several photos of the undercarriage (front to back) and especially of the engine and transmission area?? **Thanks**
