The Porsche 928 GT was introduced in 1989 as a lighter, sportier, and better-equipped version of the brand’s flagship V8-powered grand touring car, offered exclusively with a short-ratio 5-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. This 1991 example was originally sold new in Germany and reportedly used as a Porsche factory executive car before it was sold to a private owner and eventually imported to the U.S. in 1998. One of only 470 GTs built for markets outside of North America (RoW) during the model year, it comes finished in an exceptionally rare combination of Amazon Green Metallic paint over a special light grey leather-to-sample interior. The car’s engine was rebuilt in 2023 and upgraded with a custom 1.8-liter Eaton supercharger kit, a performance ECU tune, and a high-flow fuel system. It has also been modified with a Tilton twin-disc clutch, a custom Hans short shifter, a custom X-pipe exhaust, 928 GTS brakes, a wood-trimmed 996 Turbo steering wheel, Rootwood trim pieces, custom front sport seats with laser-etched Pascha seat inserts, and custom 17” phone dial wheels. This 928 was previously sold on PCARMARKET in 2023 and was purchased by the current owner that same year. Benefitting from extensive service and tasteful modifications, this rare 928 GT is now being offered out of New York with approximately 289k kilometers on the odometer. This 928 GT is finished in the rare color of Amazon Green Metallic (N7). Equipment includes factory-rolled fender lips, pop-up headlights, headlamp washers, integrated fog lights, Euro-spec turn signals, an optional electric sunroof, power mirrors, a rear window wiper, a body-colored rear spoiler, dual exhaust tips, and red 928 GTS brake calipers. The custom 17” Phone Dial wheels were made by Augment Wheel Co. and measure 8.5” ET66 in front and 10.5” ET51 at the rear. New Nitto NT555 G2 tires installed in 2023. The car was completely refinished in its original color in 2008, and the front end was professionally refinished again in 2019. Clear paint protection film has been applied to high-impact areas. Aside from minor imperfections such as a stress crack on the front bumper and a small windshield blemish, the exterior is said to be in excellent overall condition. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The light grey leather-to-sample interior has been fitted with custom power-adjustable sport seats featuring laser-etched Pascha inserts and Porsche-crested headrests. Other customizations include a wood-trimmed 996 Turbo steering wheel, Rootwod trim pieces, a laser-etched Pascha center armrest, a center console boost gauge, and custom coco floor mats. The car is equipped with power windows and door locks, automatic climate control, cruise control, an onboard computer, and a Porsche CDR-220 stereo.

The 928 GT’s 4.5-liter V8 engine came factory-equipped with unique camshafts and produced up to 326 HP and 317 lb-ft of torque. This 928’s original engine was rebuilt in 2023 and fitted with a custom 1.8-liter Eaton supercharger kit, an intercooler, a performance ECU tune, a high-flow fuel system, a custom X-pipe exhaust, and Gibson mufflers. An estimated output of 450-475 HP is sent to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transaxle and an electronically controlled limited-slip differential (PSD). The transmission has been fitted with a custom Hans short shifter, a Tilton twin-disc clutch, and reinforced torque tube bearings. The steering rack has been rebuilt, the suspension has been overhauled, and stopping power has been upgraded with 928 GTS Brembo calipers and larger rotors.

This sale will include extensive records, a factory tool kit, a spare tire, original parts, a binder of documentation, and a registration.

The seller would like you to know: “This 928 GT is far more than a driver—it’s a rare, carefully built, and fully sorted example that honors Porsche’s grand touring legacy while offering modernized performance and reliability.  For collectors and enthusiasts alike, it presents a unique opportunity to own one of the most thoughtfully evolved and documented 928 GTs available.”

Engine & supercharger were done in 2023 and then the car sold. Since then its only done 1000 kilometers.
How many Km (or miles) have been put on the rebuilt engine and supercharger?
