The first true sport-focused variant of Porsche’s luxurious 928 grand touring car, the GT version was produced between 1989 and 1991 featuring a more powerful V8 engine than the standard 928 S4 as well as a standard 5-speed manual transaxle paired with a variable PSD limited-slip differential. Among only several hundred sold in the U.S., this 1991 example is finished in Grand Prix White over a Black leather interior and was acquired by the seller in 2024. Showing approximately 85k miles on the odometer, this rare Porsche 928 GT is now being offered for auction once again on PCARMARKET out of Connecticut.
This 928 GT is finished in Grand Prix White with matching body side moldings and a black polyurethane rear spoiler. Other equipment includes pop-up headlamps, an electric sunroof, a rear window wiper, dual exhaust tips, integrated fog lights, and 16" Design 90 wheels with colored Porsche crest center caps. The seller indicates new tires were mounted in 2023 and some cosmetic imperfections can be seen in the photo gallery. A clean CARFAX report is also provided for reference.
Inside, this 928 GT features Black leather upholstery with matching carpets and headliner. Accessories include power-operated front bucket seats, individual rear bucket seats, leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel, power windows and mirrors, automatic climate control, cruise control, rear seat air conditioning, a central locking system an analog clock, a digital odometer, and a Porsche CDR-210 stereo.
Power comes from a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter DOHC V8 engine rated at 326 HP and 317 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven through a 5-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The seller indicates many common maintenance issues have been addressed and a detailed service history will accompany the sale.
This sale will include a clean title.

Hi Jon,
Thanks for your inquiry. I have the cover, I failed to photograph it.
Thanks again
Peter
Is the rear cargo cover missing? It was in the car in the Ryan Friedman ad photos.

Nice clean example of a 928GT. Good luck with the sale.
Hi
Thank you for your interest. The car was purchased last year from Ryan Friedman Motorcars. It has been carefully stored in a climate controlled facility and it has been driven regularly to exercise the car. It is in the same very nice condition as shown in the photos and video. I took additional photos yesterday and made a walk around video as I thought the auction would start Monday. The timing belt service was done in 2018 and 84,340 miles. This is a very nice example that has had much maintenance work done to it. Here is a link to the full service history

Videos are almost a year old. I wonder about the current condition of the car.

Did you purchase the vehicle from Ryan Friedman? If so how many miles has the car been driven since? Ryan has a great reputation, I would like to reach out to him to speak about this car. This is an interference engine, when was the last time that timing was addressed?
