The first true sport-focused variant of Porsche’s luxurious 928 grand touring car, the GT version was produced between 1989 and 1991 featuring a more powerful V8 engine than the standard 928 S4 as well as a standard 5-speed manual transaxle paired with a variable PSD limited-slip differential. Among only several hundred sold in the U.S., this 1991 example is finished in Grand Prix White over a Black leather interior and was acquired by the seller in 2024. Showing approximately 85k miles on the odometer, this rare Porsche 928 GT is now being offered for auction out of Connecticut.
This 928 GT is finished in Grand Prix White with matching body side moldings and a black polyurethane rear spoiler. Other equipment includes pop-up headlamps, an electric sunroof, a rear window wiper, dual exhaust tips, integrated fog lights, and 16" Design 90 wheels with colored Porsche crest center caps. The seller indicates new tires were mounted in 2023 and some cosmetic imperfections can be seen in the photo gallery. A clean CARFAX report is also provided for reference.
Inside, this 928 GT features Black leather upholstery with matching carpets and headliner. Accessories include power-operated front bucket seats, individual rear bucket seats, leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel, power windows and mirrors, automatic climate control, cruise control, rear seat air conditioning, a central locking system an analog clock, a digital odometer, and a Porsche CDR-210 stereo.
Power comes from a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter DOHC V8 engine rated at 326 HP and 317 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven through a 5-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The seller indicates many common maintenance issues have been addressed and a detailed service history will accompany the sale.
This sale will include a clean title.

Hi
Sorry I did respond sooner. I believe the drivers door has had paint work, it was done very nicely
@ForzaMotorsports Any paint work?
Any paint work?
A correction to our service summery in the last post, the valve cover gaskets were replaced, not the valve covers
Thanks for your question, we posted all the receipts we have for the past 10 years and the cars been well serviced. The steering racks been replaced, so has the valve covers and timing belt multiple times plus more. Regarding the PPI done in Jan. 2023, both all 4 tires and battery were replaced as well as the brake fluid oil and filter. All the belts and hoses were checked, and they looked fine. Regarding the timing belt, we'll have our Porsche mechanics (Lynmor Motorsports) replace it for the buyer before they take delivery. We'll also have them remove the intake and replace the breather line and replace the fuel lines as well, if they need changing. We'll also replace some of the missing trim bits like the torn plastic fender liner, above the left rear wheel. We're happy to spend a couple extra thousand dollars more on the car to assist any buyer in feeling comfortable with the purchase. We specialize in these cars and want this 928GT to go to a good home, in excellent condition. But I also want to say that were not making the car like new. We're going to do what we can for the buyer, where all parties are happy and the sale is a win for everyone.

Hi
Thanks for the bids. Sorry I didn’t reply sooner but I was out driving this very nice example of a 928 GT, the car performed flawlessly!
The last timing belt service was done at 84,340 miles. This was in 2018. Since 2005 the car has had 3 belt services. Many common issues have also been addressed.

Just a few touches away from an amazing looking machine here. Color combo is on point and begging for a nice pair of speedline wheels and some updated mirrors.
Do you know when the last timing belt service was performed? Thanks!!
